Leaping Hare in St Edmundsbury

Enjoyed a superb lunch with delicious wine. Service is excellent. I can't praise this venue highly enough. Can't wait to make a return visit.

Lovely place to visit. Pretty gardens, restaurant with seating on the patio. We did not stay for food but did have drinks. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lively place to visit.

We were lucky enough to be taken here for a meal by some friends. And ow my what a beautiful meal we had the food was cook amazingly. Even if I tried if im honest I couldn't find fault with it. From starter to desert was amazing the staff were so lovely also. The atmosphere was great all set in an stunning old barn. Amazing place food and staff if you want a real treat I would highly recommend here.

Great to be back at the Leaping Hare, Wyken Vineyards and the team didn't disappoint. A chance to enjoy a glass of Wyken Pink in beautiful surroundings. Perhaps best appreciated in less colder months. For those wanting to grab a gift there is a convenient shop attached, a bit pricey though.

Was there to check out the Farmer's Market and glad I did. Lots of variety, really friendly and helpful stall holders with great produce, food, fresh meats and cheeses alongside gin, Indian fare, homemade dog food and bakery items if which I brought way too much home with me!This one is definitely worth traveling to if you're a bit far afield IMHO.

Beautiful grounds, a really great shop and the Leaping Hare restaurant was fantastic! We had a two course lunch, and it was absolutely exceptional. The trout starter was the standout, but all dishes were delicious - we also had some lovely Wyken white wine and it all cost the same as very average Mediterranean restaurant we went to the day before in Bury St Edmunds!Couldn't recommend this place enough, delightful.

You go to a restaurant and risotto is on the menu. You know it can be a disaster...or it can be sublime. We the mushroom risotto was absolutely sublime.... completely umptious.On top of that everything else was bang on. A very good lunch, thank you

Super lunch time meal for the friends 60th Food was fabulous & staff very professional. Sad the weather was so wet as missed out on a walk around the gardens.
