Lovely relaxed drink in the garden. Friendly landlord. Good ales

Staff were very helpful and there was plenty of food.

Bit scruffy, but with six real ales the locals love it.

Lovely old style pub. Made welcome by the barman Daryl and customers. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for a good busy 'regulars' type pub.

Very friendly CAMRA pub of the year. Good selection of beers, 6 on tap Abbott reserve in bottles. Lovely dogs in residence!

One of my favorite pubs in Bury and was always fun to drop in and looking forward to seeing what the new guy has done with the place but I’m hearing it’s been good things!

Very underrated pub!This place is spit and saw dust, a much needed breath of musky air in a otherwise over crowded gastro pub engulfed town.The real ale is very good, kept at a decent temperature and its obvious the landlord keeps the lines in good condition.In short great pub but I wouldn't bring my middle class Mrs with me.

Popular unrefined local with a good choice of quality real ales, and a compact outdoor area with around 8 tables, at least 5 of those catching daytime summer sun.No food at present, but always a warm welcome from friendly Landlord, Gordon, and chief Bar staff, Mandy.
