What a fabulous gem. My wife and I visit Bury St Eds. fairly regularly but the first time to this cafe. The place was clean with welcoming and friendly staff. Our sandwiches were comprehensively filled and very tasty. Definitely on our lunchtime dining list for future visits to this town.

Had a lovely lunch here. Parsnip and apple soup! Sounds weird but was very tasty and piping hot!!!!

Lovely little cafe. They had vegan hot chocolate and a vegan apple and plum cake which was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Savoury food looked good even though we didn't have any. Would definitely visit again.

We often use the Bay Tree, usually fir morning coffee, sometimes for lunch. A pleasant atmosphere, the food is lovely and the staff are helpful and friendly. There is limited seating downstairs due to the size and age of the building, but more space upstairs. Always clean, always open regular hours, always good value.

Pretty good wholesome full English! Also enjoyed their fries and brie and cranberry toasty. And to add on top the have good COVID practices!
