We came here for a family get together as a group of 17 and Katrina and all the staff couldn’t have been more helpful! We all had a great lunch and will be back

Always friemdly and well priced. Hear that food is good but had chips and they were nice with a cold beer.

Nicely located right near the green. Good selection of Ales. Was able to enjoy an England game there which was on the big screen, and an excellent BBQ to boot. Local folks lovely and bar staff and kind.My only quibble would be that due to the match excitement social distancing was not always what it could have been and masks were not worn as per the government guidance.It did make me less confident in venturing out to other venues in future.

Visited whilst me and my partner stayed in the area for the night. We received quite a cold welcome (well thats how it felt), no sort of welcome or conversation but more awkward looks and lack of smiles. Made us uncomfortable to tell the truth. Kind of felt like outsiders because we werent locals. Was a shame because it put us off having another drink. One gentleman was lovely though (unsure if he was a staff member or customer however.....)

Great staff, always feel welcomed by them, suppose because they all know me and I them, but I can go to other pubs and not feel that (not all pubs but some), landlady Colette is friendly willing to have a chat with people, great team of people. They do their best to make everyone feel appreciated and it shows. Plus they are on top of keeping the pub clean and sanitised amidst this covid pandemic even employing people just to make sure of it. Decent ales on and well looked after (although I tend to stick to the IPA as I like the dark ales usually found in the colder months not a fan of lighter ales myself but I'm sure they give them the same care).

We had a lovely meal tonight with 3 kids. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was good and we didn’t have to wait very long for it to arrive. I will defiantly be visiting again.

Wow loved this place , staff were superb!!Food was superb!!Lovely pub traditional food and a plate full for your money!!Highly recommend for a visit, but this is our opinion!!Will definitely going back!!
