This is clearly a popular place as it was rammed whilst we were here. The staff are exceptional and the food is of fantastic quality. The only reason for marking it down is that the wait to go to the counter seemed a little long and the fact that everything was huge (whole carrots, the largest Yorkshire etc) meant that the plate was piled high and difficult to eat. Would be a more enjoyable Sunday lunch if they were smaller….. I never thought I’d say that!

“If you don’t like it then don’t eat it or go somewhere else”. Unbelievably this was the comment by the head chef to my 80 year old mum when she said the beef was a bit tough in front of him. To say the meat was tough was an understatement! We’re not fussy eaters or serial complainers it it was inedible. This was our 2nd visit to this pub under the new management. The first was poor, food was awful but we decided to our regret, to give them another try. Never again. Not only thing worse than the food (which is dreadful) is the shocking attitude of the staff. They don’t deserve your custom. Go elsewhere is my advice!

Really nice place, nice normal menu though a bit pointless cause I can't see anyone ordering anything but the carvery once you smell it. Easy to get to and park, can be a pain to get out of carpark if turning right at peak times. Just be patient

Quality of food was excellent and tasty. Unfortunately the Caesar salad was a very small portion and not adequate for a main meal. Desserts were delicious, but the baked cheesecake was a small portion.

Really enjoyed are visit here, staff very polite, helpful and no delays with food or drinks even with the pub being fairly full of diners. Carvery was spot on and again everyone including the kids was happy with there meals, highly recommend 👌

After going under new management and revised menu thought would go back only to be disappointed with the selection on the menu not a very good selection but what what was on there was good to eat and came out hot father in law had carvery (beef)and was good but veg was looking dry and was

Visited as just under new management. What can I say...What a CHANGE, Carvery was prob one of the best and we eat out every week at different restaurants and every Sunday. Service....amazing, so attentive and friendly, love the new headsets, loved the use of pad to make orders. Was super nice to see the place busy with so many people enjoying themselves. We were served by a young lady who was awesome, very articulate, very professional, genuinely friendly and overall a great experience. Love supporting local people and restaurants, this may become a regular haunt. Thank you Team Bunbury :-)

Great carvery (other meals are available). Very helpful cheerful staff. Would highly recommend eating here. Will be coming again soon. Plenty of parking and easy to find.
