The Corn Exchange in St Edmundsbury

Everything you would expect from a Wetherspoons in a historical building, the old corn exchange the decor was beautiful. Really helpful and friendly staff we had lovely food and cheap beer. My only niggle would be they have skylight windows that were all open which when the sun was out were lovely but when it got dusk they caused a breeze but with covid we understood they were keeping the room ventilated will definitely return

I've visited a few Wetherspoon pubs over the years, some better than others. The Corn exchange was just that, built in 1862 on the site of an old market and lavishly converted by Wetherspoon about 10 years ago. Beer and food are to the usual Wetherspoon standard but the building....WOW. Huge and Unbelievably ornately. It's worth a visit just to look around.

A really nice decorative place with a nice atmosphere, the steak I had was nice even though the chips were not overly hot or fresh. I didn't complain due to being in a rush and had to eat and go.

I love this place and always pop in when in town, it's an incredible building, worth going in just to view itThe food is cheap and cheerful like you'd expect from spoons, always lots of seating space and a great pub type atmosphere but because it's so big you can just sit and chill and people watch. Free tops ups on the hot chocolate :)

Lovely building. Surprised at how big wetherspoons is . Very busy. Food is very good. Cheap prices. Tables are cleared and cleaned , after you have eaten. Covid regulations in place. Felt very safe in here. I will definitely go back again

The breakfast was cooked perfectly,, the location is beautiful,,, a really nice place to stop for a quick bite .The staff were friendly and helpful..A lot of people using it as library.1 guy using a table for 6 , so he can read his book, always handy when families are waiting to be seated.

What a lovely wetherspoons this is. From the moment you enter you'd think you'd walked into a posh hotel.I was in this restaurant as I'd a car to take for a service and I must say it's one the nicest I've been in. A lovely big roaring 🔥 fire and plenty of seating. The setting is brilliant and I take the pleasure of looking atvthe structure of the place and it's damn well impressive. Food and Drinks served with a smile as always in wetherspoons. I'll definitely be visiting this place again... 🍽🍺❤👍

I Love It!SERVICE -Staff are always on top form, if u was to have a problem, they would always sort it out for you.FOOD -I can only speak of their Breakfasts, full English is just lush! I go in there 3 days a week, really can't complain.PRICES -Prices are Very good on both: food and drinks! I've been in there of an evening and can not complain about the price of a pint of beer; it's definitely one of the cheapest places to go in Bury!CUSTOMERS -I've ALWAYS enjoyed it in there. I've only been there in the evenings a few times (I normally drink indoors) and that's been on a Friday & Saturday night, the clientele is quite a young age on these nights (20's & 30's), but I've never witnessed any trouble on the occasions I've been there, nor have I heard from other people of any trouble.So it's an ALL-Round quality place to go.Enjoy Yourselves 😉

Beautiful building with lots of historical features. Tables were comfortably spaced apart. It was absolutely packed when we visited. The food and service were acceptable. The food was hot and tasty. Staff need to be more proactive about wiping down the tables when they are vacated. We sat down to a table with cups on it and a 'sticky' feel to the table.

Clean, stylish pub, a cut above the average. Lots of original Architecture kept to make the place stylish and atmospheric.
