Firstly the positives. It's a lovely building and a bright and airy bar area. The beer is very cheap. In spite of that I wouldn't go back. The "chicken" I ordered was grotesque. I've never seen or tasted anything as disgusting. I ate the charred bits and the chips and hoped I'd survive the night. The IPA I asked for was empty but the barman said he change keg and bring it down to me.Twenty minutes later i had to remind a floor server that I was still waiting. She seemed irritated to hear my news, but eventually another server brought it.There's plenty dining alternatives in Bury. They may be more expensive but they're worth it.

Staff member was confused . But very polite. However when the food arrived...I had ordered a green salad..and additional sauce. My friends however came out perfectly. After the delay he was finished as I started. The steak was cold by this point so manage to make myself a saladStaff friendly but not trained behind bar. floor staff very friendly. But no one seems to communicate

Great location and a lovely spacious building.Parking is a short walk away and seeing as this pub is on the first floor I am sure it has a lift for wheelchair access, but check to be sure.Very efficient and swift moving staff means you are not waiting long for service and the floor team are quick to clear and sanitise tables. Will certainly go here again when I visit Bury next.

Popped in here to get a quick bite to eat with the family.I mean it's a Wetherspoons so you kind of know roughly what it's going to be like.First of all the building itself looked very impressive, I don't know the area and I actually thought it was a museum.Anyway once inside it was pretty clean, good range of beers and as always with Wetherspoons, not too pricey.Ordered 4 meals which all came together, were tasty and decent.Beer was good and seemed well kept. Not much else to say. It's no nonsense decent food and drink.

I would say this is the nicest Weatherspoons I've ever been in. Really well decorated, plenty of staff on and the food was excellent.

One of the nicer wetherspoons pubs I've visited. Lovely building with plenty of light coming through the roof windows. The food is wetherspoons standard (cheap and good value) with friendly enough staff. A good place for a quick bite or drink on a budget

I've visited a few Wetherspoon pubs over the years, some better than others. The Corn exchange was just that, built in 1862 on the site of an old market and lavishly converted by Wetherspoon about 10 years ago. Beer and food are to the usual Wetherspoon standard but the building....WOW. Huge and Unbelievably ornately. It's worth a visit just to look around.

What a lovely wetherspoons this is. From the moment you enter you'd think you'd walked into a posh hotel.I was in this restaurant as I'd a car to take for a service and I must say it's one the nicest I've been in. A lovely big roaring 🔥 fire and plenty of seating. The setting is brilliant and I take the pleasure of looking atvthe structure of the place and it's damn well impressive. Food and Drinks served with a smile as always in wetherspoons. I'll definitely be visiting this place again... 🍽🍺❤👍

Clean, stylish pub, a cut above the average. Lots of original Architecture kept to make the place stylish and atmospheric.
