Best pies filled with tender steak and could taste the Ale. Best pies we have eaten. Will come again and with the family. Staff where welcoming and the locals felt at home.

Ok for a quick beer. Not had food as it appears to be freezer to microwave which is a shame. It's prime location would make it a great place to eat if the effort was made with a decent menu.

I really liked this lively pub, staff were friendly and competent. It was clean and tidy. There was karaoke on the night we were there, which was a little loud, but nothing more than you would expect, we didn't have ago, but it really was an enjoyable evening.

Pub wasn't busy for a Saturday afternoon so wondered why one staff member took her time to serve us and the other staff member thought painting behind the bar was more important than 2 new customers.... Grapes staff you're a bit TOO laid back guys !!

Nice pub, good beer, but didn't seem to be able to offer white wine, which seemed a bit curious. Was completely empty (at 6.15 pm on a Wednesday) but we were told the kitchen was not functioning atm, and normally it's 'heaving'. Anyway, clean and tidy, so got my thumbs up.

Always went for the music and occasionally stopped in mid day because it was usually quiet. Long time institution of Bury and full of stories.
