The Moreton Hall Ember Inn in St Edmundsbury

Fairly quiet when we visited, good amount of space and nice feel to the place. Decent price for four drinks (three non-alcoholic and one Guinness, poured perfectly). Food menu looked pretty standard pub grub fare.

Surprisingly great food considering the low prices, very impressed with the location and décor of the interior, overall a warm and friendly experience. The staff are welcoming and the place is fairly clean, the toilets could most definitely do with an update. Free parking on-site with registration of car at the front desk. App ordering and bar service was available during our visit. The pub was busy and I advise booking in advance if you plan to visit during a busy period. We will most definitely be returning.

Everything about our meal tonight was amazing!!! Couldn't have been happier with our food and the service, the dessert's aren't half bad either. We will be making this our new favorite family dinner night place.

Our first visit today. It won't be our last. Finding vegan and vegetarian food can be a challenge. Finding vegan and vegetarian food with more than two "safe" options can be virtually impossible.So I was delighted to be spoilt for choice with the menu here.The wait for food was absolutely worth it because it was fresh.Good, welcoming atmosphere.My partner loved the mixed grill - big portion!And great service....thank you, Jay.

Pub looks amazing and the garden area is so much more open and beautiful with the lights. The cabanas are placed just right. The food was beautiful. And Han was so helpful in finding what I needed. Thank you for a lovely dinner. We will be back.

Lovely place, great parking. Booked a table for 10 for Sunday roast. Arrived at 4.30pm, no meat left!!Really disappointed, as some family came from London. Ordered alternatives, portions were small, took ages to arrive, and all meals arrived at different times. Even had to ask for cutlery. Only plus was the staff are lovely.

Excellent pub and incredible staff, came in here for a few drinks had a nice coffee and Han who was great throughout the night game me a Biscoff.

Great to have the Pub back with all the lovely renovations. Roast beef lunch very good. Han and his team very friendly and helpful. A great way to spend a Sunday lunchtime

Excellent English breakfast for a reasonable £6.79. Everything was grilled to perfection. The bacon was the best I've had in the UK so far. Beautiful view from the patio. My wife and I watched the ducks play in the pond while we ate our breakfast. Plenty of parking. Stop in and have some food!!

Pleasantly surprised I have to be honest. Lovely garden esp during nice weather. The beer was refreshing, the wings were seasoned well, lovely and crisp and the Nachos were delicious. The portions were humongous and great value for money. Best of all...the staff were great. Will go back again for sure
