The Mughal Knight in St Edmundsbury

Went early on a Tuesday evening with my nephew and mother. Food is excellent. We had two lamb dishes and a chicken dish. Rice with nan and chapati with some side dishes. All food was good and fresh. Highly recommend

My 1st review of this restaurant having tried it for the first time tonight. Staff on the telephone and the delivery driver were so friendly and helpful. Always worry about trying a new takeaway but this was amazing. Food arrived piping hot and early and the taste of all the dishes was delicious. Lamb was falling apart as it was cooked so well and everything was just wonderful. Wish I could give it 10 stars 🌟. Will definitely be ordering again.

This is one of our favourite curry restaurants and we've never had a bad meal/takeaway, until tonight...☹️We had KP biryani, brinjal bhaji and saag aloo, which were all sadly lacking in flavour. The saag also is my favourite but it was lots of mushy potato and not much spinach.I'm so sorry for the bad review Mughal Knight. Hopefully we'll get better next time.

I love Indian food and this restaurant stands out as one of my favourites. Good vegetarian choices. Friendly, efficient service. It doesn’t sell alcohol but you bring your own, which you can buy from the Coop just round the corner. We booked in advance based on other reviews. Glad we did because it was popular.

My partner ordered a couple of dishes for us and while he loved his, I absolutely did not like my butter chicken. It tasted nothing like butter chicken. Way too creamy, way too thick and I couldn't even taste any of the spices. Not to mention the cream was so much more than the chicken itself 😡😡😡I was starving and looking forward to it so I can't help but express my disappointment. 2 stars are for the pilau even though it had no salt.

Always a warm welcome. Relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Service was excellent on my last visit. The Lamb Madras was lovely with very tender Lamb and well balanced flavours with perfect spice. Tried the mixed kebab starter and that was also excellent. Good value for money, everything tastes fresh, authentic and was cooked to order.Bring your own alcohol at the moment. (No 'corkage' charge)Soft drinks are still served however.

Had a takeaway, was surprised as my first visit, food very good, will be back. The brinjal bhaji is amazing, we had the lamb naga (khushbu) really hot but really good. Staff very friendly and food ready on time despite being quite busy. Recommended.

Spent the evening here with my brother's. Food was excellent. Quality, quantity and variety... It was spot on. Service was great. The owner and the waiters are warm and friendly. Highly recommend this place. Their food is halal and they do alot of vegetarian options.
