The Plough Inn, Rede in St Edmundsbury

Lovely meal as usual. Brian,Joyce & Amiee are excellent hosts. A true little gem. I hadn't been for a few years due to Covid but I took my son (32) & our meal was great. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Beautiful thatched pub in the lovely village of Rede. Exquisite food, very jolly landlord, open log fire. What's not to like.

Welll run old country pub serving great fayre in traditional surroundings with excellent service. Well worth a visit - you won't be disappointed!

Excellent food, extensive choice and beautifully presented. Efficient friendly service, cosy traditional pub with a relaxed atmosphere. All in all a really lovely time was had by all.

This was one of the best pub experiences I’ve ever had! The staff were so kind and helpful. They went out of their way to accommodate for us by setting up the table ready for our arrival and having a water bowl ready for our dog. The food was yummy and the garden was beautiful, we especially enjoyed meeting their parrot!😁

What a wonderful find! We were in the local area looking for a pub to eat and this pub had the best reviews around! I am not surprised. The staff were very friendly and the pub was well kept inside and out. Covid measures were all followed. They had a fabulous menu on the board - all varied and delicious sounding dishes. The food was quickly served and tasted as good as it read. We’ll be recommending this place to friends and family.
