We called at 15.20 for a last minute Sunday roast. We were told the kitchen closed at 15.30 so we had to get there quick. On arrival we had a friendly welcome from staff and locals and our table was ready. Well what an amazing Sunday roast everything cooked fresh even though we were the last ones in and it's now 16.15 and we're eating our Eaton mess. They kept the kitchen open what amazing people would come again!!!

Popped in for a bite to eat today. I had jumbo sausage and chips @7.95. Basic meal of course but I felt sausage was cheap and without taste. Served in a crusty pre marked roll and covered in mustard and Tomato ketchup. Plenty of nicely cooked chips. I felt this meal was a bit overpriced. However it filled a whole and eaten in a pleasant courtyard.

Lovely courtyard with plenty of tables and seating all cover with brollies. Staff very nice and helpful, all covid protocol being follow. We had pints of IPA, Gordon's orange gin with tonic plus some tortillas and dips really enjoyed ourselves . Highly recommend

1st visit. Booked for lunch served in their Courtyard Cafe as the pub only open evenings currently.. Very friendly owner & staff. Two had fish and chips which were excellent and one a good cheese omlette. They also had a specials board. Next time will choose the midweek roast.Impressed the waitress went especially to find a dimpled mug for the IPA.
