Lovely little village pub. Great food, good beer and ale selection. What more could you ask for?

Disappointing. We were really looking forward to visiting The Queens Head as we had so enjoyed it last time. But the food was disappointing this time. Thank goodness for the weather that meant we could enjoy sitting in the garden.

Decided to have dinner here following recommendation and reading the reviews. Not sure what went wrong but clearly didn’t get the experience others have had. Whilst the service was good and welcoming the food was anything but. The buffalo wings were plain with an unpleasant sauce that tasted like it came from a packet. The margarita pizza was clearly over-cooked and shouldn’t have left the kitchen except in the bin. My wife had the risotto which didn’t look appetising and she told me it was too rich and didn’t finish it. Whilst my nephew had a calzone which was the most ok of all the dishes but still not anything worth repeating

If you ever think you want a nice country walk followed by a roast by a roaring fire on a Sunday, this is the exact pub you want to come to. Excellent food, service quick and friendly, and they seem to keep the front bit of the pub free for drinking rather than eating, so the pubby atmosphere is kept. Dogs, wax jackets, and off road vehicles aplenty.

A wonderful old welcoming pub that served the most excellent Sunday Lunch. I can't fault anything (not that I want to) from the friendly, helpful staff to the perfectly cooked and presented meal (the ale is good too), it was most excellent and I highly recommend it.

We stopped to grab something to eat and wasn't not disappointed. Food is amazing and the atmosphere was just how a pub should be. The staff and locals are super welcoming and friendly. One of the best pubs I have been in. Keep up the good work

·

Great pub for a drink as well as for food. Extensive wine list (especially for a pub) which does not disappoint.Solid Sunday lunch offering and very generous portions. Owners friendly and welcoming and often put on excellent fun events such as wine tastings and for the summer solstice (at least before Covid). Dogs are welcomed in the bar and good space outside as well.

We had a delicious Sunday lunch here today and couldn’t have asked for better quality food or service. The atmosphere in the pub is very relaxed and everything you’d hope for from a Suffolk country pub. Probably my new favourite!

·

Great views, and windswept on a sunny day. Super quiet and filled with friendly locals. Highly recommended on a tour of the Suffolk countryside.

A little gem!!! been going here for years expertly kept beer, log fires and friendly community. the pizzas cooked in there stone oven and steaks from there own butchers are a must
