Lovely friendly welcome. Nice seats outside but it was chilly so we went in. Nice vibe. Conversations you can join in, and that. Beer was well kept. Scampi fries: best from the past!

Lovely hidden gem which actually opened on a Monday. Perfect covid safety measures in place and ample distanced tables and plenty of tables inside and outside. Very friendly staff. Thank you for my great pint! X

A lovely village pub. I had a pint of Guinness and for lunch had the pork sausages an mash with other veg. The portion was very good as were the sausages. I was going to have the chicken and bacon pie that looked great too but this ran out.My lunch was £8 which I think was brilliant value. The food was good hearty English fare and the amount you got for your money was excellent. As was the friendly service from all the staff. I will return.
