Had a lovely relaxed lunch here on Thursday. Food was great, I’d highly recommend a nourish bowl 😋

·

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff friendly, accommodating and attentive. Definitely recommend it.

We stopped in after visiting Ickworth House and had a beautiful lunch in the garden (one beetroot tart, one garlic butter chicken and fries). Staff gave us a warm welcome and friendly service throughout, we had a nice spot in the garden, food arrived promptly and it was delicious. I wish I lived nearby so we could return!

Such a disappointment. Location is great but the food is so below average it's really not worth it. I did actually pointed out that I wasn't happy with it but they didn't offer anything to make it better. Will not come back.

I visited on 9th Oct 21 and had the fish and chips but the batter was so thick and heavily fried I had to smash it rather than cut into it which left the fish crumbled and covered in the inedible batter and the chips were unfortunately equally dreadful. I think we must have caught them as the kitchen was closing. The staff didn't seem to notice that we hadn't eaten anything or are used to meals being returned uneaten. When I went to pay, I was asked if I'd enjoyed my meal and said that I hadn't and was cut off by the bar staff while explaining why and told "I'll pass it on" in an extremely curt manner.I have given 2 stars because the village location its self is quite pleasant and drinks were OK, we sat outside so can't comment on the inside other than there appeared to be something missing which is why we sat outside.I only comment now because it has come up on Google today that I have visited and asked for a review.I don't leave reviews as a rule but it worked out expensive to send this meal to the bin and drive back down into Bury for something to eat before going home.

Me and my partner visited last night and thoroughly enjoyed our date night. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. Lovely presentation of the food and the staff were friendly. We will be back again.

We went to the Six Bells for Sunday lunch and were so happy with our overall experience. The staff were inviting, polite and very accommodating to our needs. We pre booked and were seated immediately upon arrival. The food came out beautifully prepared and in record time. The whole place was really clean with quaint decorations, even the bathrooms were extremely cleaned and smelled like lemon. We would 100% return there for a family meal again.

A delightful village pub with clean and modern interior. Lovely garden with nice planting. Great menu, very reasonably priced and fantastic staff. Would highly recommend visiting for dinner, lunch or just a few drinks.
