Popped in for an anniversary lunch. What a find! Hosts were delightful and attentive and the food was sublime. We ate our way through the menu from nibbles to dessert. Each dish was beautifully presented. Pricing was spot on for the quality of ingredients, hosting and skill involved. We will definitely return.

We have just had a lovely family get together here & everyone had a great time . The food was beautiful & very well priced for the quality & amount. We will definitely be back . The pub is very well presented ( as was the food ) & all the staff were lovely. Totally recommend.

STYLE OR SUBSTANCE.Had the Halibet fish & chips main last night.Chips & peas were fine but the Halibet fish was completely tasteless, lacked seasoning & batter was soggy on the bottom. When waitress done table check I told her so ( politely) & said I'd just eat my chips & pea's & I completely left the fishI was charged FULL price (£17) for a few chip & some pea's. I was told Chef has tasted my fish & thought it tasted fine as taste is subjective & it must of been soggy because I left it. I asked what the point of doing a table check if your going to ignore the customer & charge full price anyway,when they were genuinely displeased with meal. I was told it was there best seller so the problem must be mine. Will never eat there again as had better service & fish supper from my local chippy that cost 1/4 the price & double the satisfaction.

The decor is very classy and comfortable, the service was excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic. Will recommend to anyone who wants to listen and will definitely eat here again. Artichoke soup with mushrooms, mackerel and beetroot, and chicken ham and mushroom soup pictured. All delicious and reasonably priced considering the quality and amount of food. A wonderful pub and restaurant.

Really lovely setting in a much improved pub. The food was excellent and service attentive. We've recommended this place to friends and will definitely go back. Let's hope they keep the standards this high.

Brilliant food, service and quality beer. Bury will benefit from having this laid back pub with excellent food to complement the pints. The beef cheek croquettes were excellent. Could not fault it. 10/10
