Wilcrofts Home Cooked Food House in St Edmundsbury

Been here before for lunch, this time for breakfast/brunch table was cleaned for us, our order was taken and the food drink arrived piping hot, as usual quality and service was very good we will call again, highly recommended it.

This used to be called something else, I can't remember what.The present incarnation of this established cafe is still as good, still has really good staff, and is still as popular as ever.The food was delicious, hot and served quickly. The place had a steady stream of satisfied customers, the tables were well spaced and it was pleasant and comfy.Open on a Sunday was the added bonus we'll be back soon.

Excellent breakfast, even popped out to get me some oat milk, our puppies first outing in polite company she was made more than welcome. Delicious ingredients promptly served, very friendly staff. 😁

Being fully booked is always a good sign. A very nice range of good meals at reasonable prices. Everything that went by on the plates looked good so just pop in and give it a try.

Been to Bury this afternoon. There was 6 of us and found a table ready to order. A very rude waitress came over and told us there was not enough on the table for us to eat or drink and asked us to leave. There was no we will try and accommodate you, just asked us to leave.Well I’m sorry to say we went somewhere else and spent £40 plus. That is a sale you missed out of. I will not recommend you to anyone and please ask your waitress to get some manners !!!!!

Straightforward café. What you see is what you get and what you get is bloody good!!Spotlessly clean. Friendly efficient staff giving top service.Six of us for breakfast and we all cleared our plates. Food well cooked with generous portions. What's not to like?Certain to go again. If you are in Bury give it a go. You'll not be disappointed.

Great staff. Warm and friendly. Good range of food freshly cooked / prepared. Great value for money. Café could benefit from an uplift but everything else is sound.

Lovely place and really nice staff. We go every Sunday for brekky and always satisfied. Food is hot and cooked perfectly. They make their own orange juice, fresh sqeezed. The staff are always busy and never just standing idle. Please give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.
