Zeera Indian Takeaway in St Edmundsbury

Been a few times very good takeaway always get enough for multiple meals. Great food and a very big selection. People who don't like spicy food or wouldn't normally eat curry based cuisine should really try this.

Love the food but watch it of you order on a busy night like I did tonight (New Years). I understood that they would probably be busy but after 1hr I called, no answer. Between an hr and 2 hrs wait time I called several times at the two numbers they listed on their website (which had been taken down in this time, I'm assuming to stop more online orders) no answer. At two hrs in I gave up and ordered BK for my now very hungry kids because I thought I wasn't coming. No one answering the phone, place might not even be open...Zeera showed up at 2.5 hrs 🙄. So...thanks I guess? The delivery guy handed my daughter the food and ran off before I could get down the stairs quick enough so I couldn't ask questions as to what happened.

Hidden away round the back of the Mace shops, this is a gem. It's been our go to takeaway for years Great food and lovely friendly service.

We contacted Zeera as a large group staying approximately 10 miles from Bury St Edmonds for the weekend. The staff were easy and quick to communicate with via email and they accommodated easily a member of our party with an intolerance. The food arrived on time, hot and not a single item missed or incorrect. We were a party of 18 spending over £220 and were definitely expecting the odd mistake. The food itself was also very delicious. Thank You!

Delivered slightly outside their usual area, to our holiday cottage. Delicious food, still hot and bang on time. Would definitely recommend. Just a shame it's a bit far from home for regular use!

My husband and I had an absolutely delicious meal, by far the best takeaway experience I have ever had. So many scrumptious dishes to choose from, cooked to perfection with lovely fresh ingredients, and very reasonably priced. If you haven't already this is definitely a place to try, I will certainly be returning. Thank you.

We never experienced a proper bland Indian cuisine in our life, this was just simply poor! We had chicken korma that was so awful, way too sweet and no flavour at all other than sweetness, we have had many korma from different take away before and never tasted a korma like we had today, we literally had a spoon and binned the rest! Even supermarkets Indian ready meal is better than this! The worst was staff was busy playing with his phone, he was standing in the kitchen and I was trying to get his attention but did take a while! As I was looking at the kitchen, found none of the kitchen staff were wearing masks or gloves either, come on guys it's the pandemic at least have the courtesy to protect your customers! Never again to buy from this take away, a real put off!

I ordered on the website and my confirmation stated it should be delivered within the hour..... Ordered placed at 18.50. I finally start to try calling the takeaway at 20.15 to see where my order was, after over an hour of the phone just ringing off the phone was finally answered at 21.25!!! I was then told that my food was on the way! An hour and a half late!! I had to argue for a refund as I no longer wanted the food. Absolutely shocking customer service.I have used this takeaway for years but never again! Only giving 1 star as 0 stars is not an option.

Best Indian I have had for a long time. Reminded me my visit to India twelve years ago. Absolutely delicious. Butter chicken highly recommended. Keep it up guys.

Amazing food, with a good price! What more could you ask for from a takeaway! Very friendly staff and orders arrive on time too. P.S - Their Chicken Tikka Biryani is the best!!
