Alam in Stevenage

Not sure if this review would mean anything but the branch in Stevenage lacks customer service. The kebabs weren’t cooked well you could see the blood in every bite. The service was very slow although there were literary 3 customers in the entire restaurant. The bread wasn’t cooked well if you pressed it too many times it would become real dough. When complained to the server instead of apologizing and correcting their action they would give you bogus excuses. I don’t think they deserve even 1 star. Totally worst Turkish place I have ever been. I would say stay away from this place. You could see the lady waiters dancing and talking to one another instead of coming and asking the customers if they need something. Totally waste of time and money !

Wonderful place to eat. Wonderful service. Food and staff.. First time visiting and so glad chose here. Had a really lovely evening. Not rushed, literally cannot fault this fantastic restaurant... thank you so much

Excellent place to eat, the food was amazing and the vibe was excellent. Every member of staff was so friendly and helpful. Have eaten here a number of times now and have never been disappointed. Also have enjoyed a takeaway , food had always turned up hot.

Mixed seafood grill was disappointing upon delivery with two prawns and bits of salmon buried under rice and leaves.Both prawns were burnt.Very disappointed as I have ordered here before. Raised with restaurant but the response was less than satisfactory.

We went as a group of 4 people. Our table was in the corner right under the speaker. The music was so loud, we barely could hear each other, despite other people where talkin loud.The food was lovely, very nice, but presentation could be slightly better.

What an absolute gem.. the staff and food is second to none. Well done and don’t change any aspect of your service

After visiting the Old Town on a day out decided to stop here as random choice having had a Turkish meal while visiting Hull.What a great decision!!The lunch deal is great value and the food was gorgeous.Obviously the restaurant would be a bit harder to get into during evening service but I'm sure you would not have to wait too long for a table.Loved the decor and will return be back again.

Went out for dinner with a friend to catch up and eat some food. We didn't want to rush or feel like it was time to leave and we found the perfect place. It was friendly, welcoming and the food was excellent. The service was attentive and the Turkish Red wine was excellent.We sat in the restaurant for 3 hours, talking and eating. We had the set menu which gave us a taste of most things.It was one of the greatest dining out experiences I've had in a long time and shows how it should be done. Top notch.See you next month for more of the same.

Good atmosphere and terrific food. It was quite busy when we went and took some time to prepare the food.

Delicious products restaurant. I went there several times, and wvery time I ate wonderful foods. They have fantastic Turkish mezes, and different Turkish grill. All of them very tasty. Also, they were very kindful, friendly. You can feel like your home. Thank you for all my delicious experience.
