China Garden in Stevenage

Decades ago I always used Jade Garden for our Chinese food. Then after a period when we just didn't buy take aways, we were introduced to another place. Their food was good and reasonably priced. It's still good but most definitely not reasonably priced. Jade Garden food is excellent, service is good, and prices are fair, especially given the quality. I recommended Jade Garden to friends and they said "Best they'd ever tasted!" No need to say more.

I have always had takeaways from Jade Garden, but last night's was the best. My friend had the beef curry and I had the shrimp curry....wow it was fab & well worth the wait. Thank you

Hot tasty food. Good prices. I telephone order so ready when I get there to collect.Visited again last weekend all still as above. Was glad to see all staff including chefs wearing face masks.

This has to be the worse Chinese takeaway that I have ever had, by far. The vegatable Singapore rice noddles was inedible as the only flavouring used was a heap of strong curry powder (after ordering mild spices) and the vegetables were hard to find. I had to take it back and got my money back.Truly, this has been the worst takeaway ever!!!

The food just wasn't nice, it was my first time grabbing a takeaway from here and unfortunately it'll be my last. My kids absolutely love chinese food but they couldn't eat this. One of my kids in particular loves chow mein and will eat a whole portion himself if given the opportunity but he actually spat them out and refused to eat anymore. The only chinese worth going to is old town Chinese and we won't be going anywhere else from now on.

During lockdown all I could think about was a chinese take away ( I was persistent and called 28 times) I got through!! I was told delivery time was 2.5hrs... normally I’d pass but I waited! What I wait, I could have eaten my right arm but boy was it worth it. The delivery guy came wearing gloves and a ‘Micheal Jackson’ mask!The FOOD was AMAZING! Hats off and a huge thank you, you made my Saturday normal! #lovechinese

Really good value for money. Our favourites are the chow mein and you get loads! Sweet and sour chicken was nice, beef in oyster sauce was good. Prawn crackers are good too. Had a few things, always seems to be decent. Never had the chips. Seem to cook things very quickly. I usually wait so not tried the delivery.

Absolutely disgusting food and vile customer service the lady was so rude when we called politely and said we aren’t happy with the food can we have a refund she said no then she said said you. Can’t have a refund because we have tried the food ! Of course we have tried the food this is how we knew it’s rank neverOrdering again only ordered as our main Chinese was closed rude staff sort it out

Got a Chinese and it was the worst ever. Chicken balls were not cooked properly inside and overcooked outside. Chicken in rice and main was undercooked and just tasted odd. Prawn toast was soggy. Called to ask nicely for refund and was told they wouldn't because that I didn't like the food wasn't a good enough reason!! Continued to complain and they agreed refund. They came to collect the food and said I had to show it hadn't been eaten...which I did... I showed them all of it was boxed back up and they deducted £5 from the refund saying it was for the delivery drivers and the boss didnt want to refund it!...I will absolutely never order from them again and you will be crazy if you do or you will end up money down the drain and eating cereal like I am now 2 1/2 hours after I placed the order! Shocking food, shocking service.
