Gangnam in Stevenage

Surprisingly large on the inside. Service is lovely if not very fast although there may have been a kitchen issue for a while. We were given some extra sides for free because of the wait and the staff couldn't have been more friendly. Very flavoursome honest food nicely presented in a relaxed atmosphere.

Gangnam is the jewel of Stevenage. You are made to feel like you are with family, the owner is attentive and caring and so kind. We have only just left and all we have spoken about is how lovely our visit was and how satiated we are. Ever item on the menu is delicious but the Korean kimchi pancake is out of this world. And that fresh kimchi! Wow! Owners all around Herts would do well to learn from the owner of Gangnam, she is the best example of true hospitality. Chocolate mochi was on point and the orange cake was fully and soft beyond belief. Thank you all for your fantastic service, your chefs are so talented ❤️

Second meal from Gangnam and what a pleasant surprise in Stevenage. The staff get five stars, very friendly and helpful. It’s the types of place where you feel like part of the family.The food is tasty and the ingredients were fresh. The kimchi is always pleasant. Had dumplings this time around and they were very tasty. Also had the Bibimbap. They are tasty, and the flavours were excellent.

Such a great find! I had a lovely meal. The food was amazing and the customer service was excellent. There are vegetarian and gluten free options and lots of choice. Plus the best green tea I've ever had! Can't wait to come back.

We've eaten here a few times and the food of course is exceptional- fresh and filling, in big portions, always comes out steaming hot and worth every penny. But what keeps us coming back is the unparalleled customer service- every need is met, without feeling like you're being constantly interrupted, all the staff are kind and friendly. A great place for a mid week date night, or if you're looking for a lovely venue for a family get together!

Went here for my anniversary dinner - will definitely come back. Nice, calm relaxing restaurant with great service and amazing food. My partner and I are looking forward to working through the menu.

Fantastic food, get soju here, can smell the food cooking, very friendly staff and great starters for only like 5 or 6 pounds. Good stuff if you know korean food or not.

5th visit to this wonderful restaurant in Stevenage. Unbelievably good food and service every time. Would recommend and and will return again soon.

Second visit to Gangnam. Brilliant food, I was thinking of when I could return for my 3rd visit whilst eating my meal - lively flavours and a real feel of homely Korean cooking. The staff are always very polite and the service is fast. Will be returning very soon!

Delicious food! Second time there, and was again delighted with the food! Had a salmon bibimbap, and it was great. Also had dumplings which were delicious! Such a nice , cheap and healthy meal out ! I definitely recommend. Might be a good idea to book on weekends!
