Mumbai Spice in Stevenage

Waited 2 hours for delivery. The person on the phone couldn't understand me and was asking what my order was and was trying to charge me again. Eventually someone come on the phone who said they was sorry and we could have 50% off next time.Next time around agreed to honour their discount but not on the set menu which is what we ordered the first time. I told the person on the phone that it was ridiculous and they should honour their word. Their response was that they wouldn't make enough money if they did that.They eventually agreed and said the wait would be over an hour. I said is it likely to be 2 hours again like before he said no. 1 hour and 20 minutes. 2 hours later still no food and the man that answered the phone and said sorry 20 minutes. 40 minutes later still nothing.Joke of a company! Avoid ordering!

Awful service and rude staff from the restaurant. Told me they would sort out the incorrect order. After half an hour of not hearing anything called them and they blamed me for not telling them it was ordered through Uber so nothing they will do. Would have been nice for them to at least call me back to tell me they would be doing nothing rather than leaving me waiting.

Best Indian in the area by a country mile. Delivery can be a bit slow but it's always worth it.

Absolute shocking service, waited 2 hours for food they take more cigarette breaks than they do actual cooking, rubbish cold food and shocking bad customer service

Probably the worst takeaway experience I've ever had. What I ordered was not what I got. Collection time was 40 minutes out. Struggled to complain to just eat. Avoid like the plague. Whole family binned their dinners £64 in the bin.

Disappointing as order incorrect (received a rice I didn't order, instead of a peshawari naan). Curry was pleasant but bland. Rice was nice and fragrant. 3 stars as reasonable. I've had worse and have had much better.

Ive eaten at more Indian restaurants/takeaways than i can count, but Mumbai spice is by far the best Indian food I've ever tasted!The portion sizes are great,The prices are unbelievably low for the amount of food you get,The service is brilliant,And the food is incredible!If you haven't eaten from here yet i recommend you do,I am now a customer for life!

The best Indian food I have tasted in a long time - thank you guys! Dishes are all distinct and generous. Would highly recommend if you are after an excellent eating experience.

It is very rare that I would leave a review that is this negative based on one experience but unfortunately I am. Decided to order via Just Eat, waited 40 minutes and then received a call from Just Eat saying the restaurant needs to cancel my order since they are updating their website. I understand, it happens and this is a first world problem, but the website is still online and still accepting orders - so this is just a complete lie, I believe the 40% discount they are running made them too busy and they had to cancel my order. Again, I understand this happens, just don't blatantly lie about it.

Gave this place a try after reading some reviews and what a delight it was. Good customer service with prompt delivery. Highlight of the experience has to be the quality of food! Very fresh and authentic flavours just how an Indian should be. Very impressed by this take away
