Old Red Lion in Stevenage

Fantastic pub, really friendly staff and great food.I was very impressed with the range of food on the menu. It all came out quickly and was cooked perfectly. The pub was clean, welcoming and the staff were lovely and making sure everyone was happy with their food. It looked like it was a busy day but the tables were being cleared and wiped clean as soon as people had gone. I'll definitely be back again.

Haven't used this pub for a while due to covid now we are able I went and was very disappointed.I order the lasagna which didn't taste like lasagna and bottom of it was burnt in places however it wasn't hot. My partner had the fried chicken and waffles which wasn't hot either. I wouldn't recommend this place for food at all.The staff are friendly on a happier note.

Its a lovely place 😊, staff were lovely too! Food was nice good prices and offers worth having, my only concern was the food was meant to be sizzling but it was only warm, hopefully it was just an off day,I will go back and try again, fingers crossed everything will be sizzling and fantastic.

Was a surprise to see the range of items on the menu, me and my son was impressed as it been many years since we last ate at Old Red lion.

Lovely old pub. Great value, excellent food, large selection of drinks and cask ales too!! Well worth a visit. It's a hungry horse pub, so you get a fantastic selection on the menu, and many massive plate deals for the hungriest of customers!! Enjoy 👍🏻

It is a nice place with good food and really low prices. They have offers for every day of the week and you can't go wrong. In January they have a selected menu where you get 2 mains and 2 kids with a massive ice cream for dessert for £17. The drinks prices are low as well and the staff is really friendly and welcoming. Make sure you book your table as it is packed most of the time. Quite a big parking lot in front.LE: still amazing prices and very good offers. BOGOF Friday is amazing.

Coke zeros were flat, bottled cokes weren't much better. Everyone's food tasted as if it was microwaved, kids pizzas looked and tasted like the quick ready meal ones you can buy, very rubbery! Only half decent thing was the chips. Overall we left wishing we went somewhere else!

Really nice pub. Friday night buy one get one free burgers well worth the visit very easy with the app.

Lovely pub exactly what we wanted. Wasn't too crowded and service was quick. Order from table wasn't working but that was a very minor issue. Food was ordered from the bar and was quick, hot and delicious. Pub was clean and tidy and staff were very pleasant. Ample size car park and some outdoor seating also.Some covid measures in place with masks optional and sanitising stations available.

Gorgeous little pub with a country feel even though it's in the middle of a housing estate.Staff were friendly and even though it was really busy service was very quick both for our drinks and then again when we ordered a meal.We sat in the garden where there is a view across the road to an old church and churchyard which added to the village feeling.Really enjoyed sitting in the sunshine here.
