Oliver's Restaurant in Stevenage

At a booking for 5pm on a Sunday (the first available slot for the dinner menu) they were totally out of chicken roast dinners and only had one beef left! Two of the main dishes from the kids menu (spag bol and pizza) were not available.When my main came out it was missing coleslaw and onions. My desert stated 'warm brownie' which came out ice cold! The service from our waitress was great but that was one of the few good things about our visit. Will not be visiting again in a hurry.

Staff were great. However it was the worst meal had be given. Not all the chips had been cooked fully. Half rack of ribs cold, the glaze had congealed and only just warm, the pulled pork was dry with no sauce it would great kindling

Prompt service, kinda mixed up parts of the order - skinny chip came with chunky, medium rare of the 3 ordered one came back medium, otherwise a good meal out with the kids.

Friendly staff although service wasn’t the quickest. Food was good and can’t complain with unlimited Coke Zero.

Decent enough place. Can be a long wait for food, but Beefeater tends to understaff. My daughter loves their nachos and mash. Food is generally ok but I wouldn't say spectacular. Staff friendly. Good parking.

Loved this restaurant before today. Half of menu not available. Ordered 4 Sunday roasts 3 adult 1 child. All adult meals got sent back. Cauliflower cheese and veg cold. Roast potatoes hard and cold in middle. Would have given a zero today if it wasn’t for the young csa and duty manager

Went here for a birthday meal,The food and service was brilliant.The staff were really polite and helpful.We booked a large table and the waiting staff were prompt with the drinks and food orders.We came back in the morning for breakfast (included with the Premier Inn across the car park). We had unlimited full english cooked to order (not a buffet style), the food was fresh, hot and mouthwateringly good quality. We also had access to unlimitedcontinental breakfast, which again was really good quality.Highly recommend!!

Had our xmas dinner hear for a family of 8. We didn't have to wait for food or drinks. We was topped up constantly with our needs. We was spaced apart really well and didn't feel like they had tried to cram to many people in! The food was lovely, good portion sizes and price was great for everything you get! Toilets were clean and staff very helpful and friendly.

Although busy, staff were apologetic about the (short) wait to bring us our drinks b4 dinner. Both meals were very nice, well cooked & nicely presented. It's not 'fine dinjng'but very nice pub food. Would deffo go again.

A pleasant dining experience despite understandable missing items. Only query was serving sizes. Ordered one of the Christmas prosecca drinks. The serving size differed greatly to the menu. Waitress said she would check with Manager but no response. Sadly not my first experience of what looks like undeserving in Whitbread restaurants.
