Our Mutual Friend in Stevenage

What a gem of a pub! As an Oldham Athletic supporter, we were welcomed into Our Mutual Friend alongside the local Stevenage FC fans. There was friendly banter and even a 'chant off'. The pub is big, clean and pleasant, with a pool table, beer garden and ridiculously cheap drinks! If we're lucky enough to travel to Stevenage again, we would absolutely make sure to pop in for a pint! Thanks to the regulars and hosts for adding to a great afternoon.

Clean and friendly, good selection of drinks and good offers

Friendly staff , great value beers 🍻 👌

great boozer, regularly come here for a pint after our football games, good selection of beer, pool table is decent and plenty of tv's around the bar

Definitely good value for money, very cheap beer. Shame it has drifted away a bit from the wide ale selections it used to have. The heavy metal music is a bit loud at times - or maybe I'm getting old!

Great local great people they always remember the regulars good for the sport n once restrictions lifted pool n darts too live music mainly from Friday also Food Save UK Nomads at least one Saturday a month.

Beers cheap and the pub has a friendly feel to it

Great pub, all sports on. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Too many spurs supporters there last night but not the pubs fault!

Awesome pub, not as good as it used to be but strongbow darkfruit at £2.90 a pint you can't go wrong

I came across this pub as an away fan looking for a swift pint before a game against Stevenage. Its a good size and away fans were welcome. You can buy a two pint beer if you fancy it, which considering the large queue wouldn't be a bad idea. This brings me on to my only criticism, the pub must have known it would be busy for a local Derby but only put two bar staff on... who did a great job so thank you.
