Papa Johns in Stevenage

First visit here. I've always used Pizza Hut but as they've stopped doing gluten free I thought I'd give Papa Johns a go. Delicious GF pizza base. All pizzas delicious and hot when collected. Thanks very much. You've converted me!!

Absolutely disgusting service never normally a issue but to wait nearly 2 hours for food and for it to be stone cold is a joke 40 quid later 2 hungry kids joke.

If you don’t wanna eat cold pizza, COLLECT IT, it’s super fast. But if you get it delivered, hope you like cold pizza and get ready to wait for 1 hour at least. Good luck

Placed and order online, which I received an order confirmation. After 1 hour and 10 mins with no food I called the stevenage branch. The idiot who answered the phone stated they had not received the order and would not let me talk and then hung up the phone on me. This is the 2nd time in a couple of months I've had issues with papa johns stevenage!!. They have zero customer service skills. Just because they are a franchise of a global company does not mean they should treat their customers like sh&t!!. Never will I order from them again!!!

Great place for delicious and tasty pizzas. Delivery time is really quick even during weekends. Staff are really friendly, excellent customer service overall. I would surely recommend this place for good pizzas at very reasonable price.

Always delicious, excellent service and prompt delivery.There are fantastic vegan options available.On the (only) time there has been an issue, there has been communication from the branch to myself to let me know so it could be rectified.Additionally, they are always very prompt and polite when answering the phone.I wholeheartedly recommend!

Never normally have issues ordering however if it's raining then they won't ring the doorbell and instead sit in the car, with the pizzaOnly if you call and chase it, you realise that they're just sat outside in the car and YOU need to leave the house to go and collect it.No contact delivery? Utter nonsense! He was wearing no face mask and lied about where he was parked...no where near our house.Worst delivery ever had. And obviously because they decided to sit in the car...the pizza was cold.

I rarely give one star but the pizza I had tonight (summer bank holiday Monday) deserved it. Ordered a large pizza with 4 toppings. Was there in about 15 minutes as instructed for the pick up time. The man that served me was fine. The pizza I received was not. Checking after I had walked out: It was barely warm, extremely dry and and seemed to be barely a single pepperoni when a double was ordered. The other two toppings looked like they hadn't even been cooked with the rest of it. Simply tossed on top and given a quick blast. It's been a long day so I didn't bother returning to complain. Once upon a time I worked for Papa John's as a teenager (not this location), I recognize the hallmarks of an old pjs pizza. When I worked for the company we had the decency of not selling on abandoned pizzas, this Papa John's should do the same. I'll no longer be defending Papa John's as passable pizza and shall encourage everyone to take their business elsewhere.

We have used this Papa John's dozens of times and have always received top quality, delicious pizza and sides. My son and daughters favourites. The cinnamon dough things are amazing.Have only ever collected. Really great staff and order correct and ready on time and every time. 👍👍👍

Ordered two expensive pizzas that were meant to be covered in meat, when it arrived it was 90% cheese with some ham sprinkled on it. Save yourself the effort and pick up a pizza from Tesco 20ft down the road - they're better and cost 1/10 the price.
