Starbucks in Stevenage

Went through the drive through last night for a nice cooling frappacino after a long warm day. Couldn't decide what I wanted so I asked what was best out of the strawberry or cookies and cream. Had a lovely brief chat with I believe Elsie? (sorry if that's wrong, couldn't quite see your name badge!) who was telling me about both and how she makes them in a "special" way. I said I would let her choose because I'm so indecisive and she said she would make me a surprise drink. Got round to the collection window and she presented me with an amazing cookies and cream mix with some other flavours (I think white chocolate?) which was THE BEST iced drink I've every had from a coffee place! She asked me to try it whilst I was there so she knew if I liked it as she likes making special mixes for people and I can definitely say it was a big hit! Starbucks you have a brilliant employee in Elsie who has great customer service and has that creative flair you should look for in a great barista! 10/10! Will go out of my way to visit this branch again!! Drove home with a smile and a lovely cool drink!

Arrived at 2030 supposed to close at 2100 - inside closed already - drive through not doing food - ☹️

Rude, young immature girls that have no people skills. You can actually here it in there tone of voice they can't be bothered, everything seems to much effort.You darnt ask for sugar or a napkin when you get to the window, you get the eye roll.From this day onwards I will take my money elsewhere.

Good coffee but walk-ins don’t get acknowledged and drive thru customers seems to be more important. I watched 11 cars drive in and get served and drive off before I even got a hello.

Slipped in here for a latte and a ham and cheese toasty while I waited for my car to be serviced.The service was slow with only one barista making drinks. Worth the wait though as the coffee and toasty were spot on.Plenty of places to sit, clean and tidy!

Got a Hot Chocolate from here today, and honestly it was pretty disappointing. Usually, a Starbucks HC is nice, tasty and creamy but this was no more exciting than a bottle of water. Can only imagine that they’ve bowed to pressure to stop using traditional milk and have replaced it with dishwater. 1 star for the drink, 1 star for the wait. Save your money, or go to Hotel Chocolat for a decent drink.

I went through the drive through this morning and experienced terrible customer service by the blonde worker with black glasses. She was very flat and mundane the moment I ordered but once I drove up to the window of the drive through I see her walk over with the wrong drink (I ordered a matcha and she was bringing a regular iced latte) I asked oh I ordered a matcha (it wasn’t a big deal to me just she must have misheard me) and instead of apologizing for the misunderstanding she yells at me saying I ordered an iced latte….which I find very rude because I know what I ordered and a matcha latte is very different. She then proceeded to storm away make the matcha and almost like she was throwing a tantrum dump the iced latte down the sink. Never to speak to me again. Now maybe she was having a bad day, or is not a morning person, but this type of behavior and customer service over a small thing that I know happens all the time is completely out of line. I hope they make sure to train their staff better.

It is usually good in the drive through however when we went inside and ordered just a blonde vanilla latte, the barista didn’t know how to make it and improvised.. it came out a very dark brown colour so I think she didn’t use blonde coffee beans and no vanilla and it tasted of watery soil. So overall they’re okay if they know how to make it :)

Really friendly, helpful staff. Lots of stuff on offer including various dairy-free milks (free during Veganuary), hot food and sweet treats.

So slow! Be prepared to wait 20 mins plus for anything. Are they harvesting the beans before making the coffee too..? 🤷🏼‍♀️
