The Coopers in Stevenage

Ordered Takeaway for my mum on 22/4. Arrived to the pub at half 4 and they were just boxing it up. Massive improvement on last takeaway. Great boxes they put the food in, kept the food hot. My mum was pleased with her food. Thanks will be ordering again.While in the pub the other day I ordered a meal to take away for my mum. Waited ages, had to chase it up more than once. The lady who took my order kindly had to chase the kitchen up again. Got the food home and it was cold and needed to be warmed up. This is the second takeaway I have done and the first one we booked online for collection time at 4:30pm. The food hadn't been started when we arrived to collect, had to chase lots and was cold. Need to get this sorted if offering this kind of service.

Lots of food on menu unavailable.Almost asked for a refund. Was told 30 minute wait. Food didn't come for an hour and 40 minutes. Wasn't over busy either.Sausages were burnt and chips were almost cold. Waitress staff were lovely and apologized. Kitchen staff didn't seem to communicate with waitress staff at all

Had a lunch with my family yesterday. I really like the new menu! My chicken skewers were delicious. Lovely staff and attentive service. Will be back next week!!

Staff are very welcoming and polite. Food was lovely and did not have to wait too long. Would definitely recommend

Food was goodish got changed 70p extra for mushy peas onion rings missing from surf and turf, then got charged for 2 extra pints we didn't have, staff need to know what their doing (very inexperienced) and it showed. Having said that our server was very pleasant and was the only one bring food to table's while two members of staff stood behind the bar chatting 🙄

Great experience, lovely staff. Recommended for a chill Sunday to take you off from thoughts. Food is nice and an average price. Server named is Josh courteous and a great image for the company.

Cannot praise them enough. We had a wake for my mum. We were treated with care and sympathy, we were given sole use of one end of the pub. The food, silver buffet, was amazing. We would certainly recommend the Coopers and would like to say a huge thank you to the staff.

Nice food, friendly staff and a very quick service even though it was busy. I'll definitely be coming back!

Sadly the food was awful this evening, 6 people for dinner 4 opted for the festive menu, 2 starters not brought out so they were eaten when everyone else finished, processed meat, frozen potatoes, watery veg no colour on the food veg consisted of beans and peas? Paid extra to have a Yorkshire pudding and extra pig in blanket, brought out half way through the meal, gravy was an oxo cube, thank goodness not there for Xmas day.There is a reply from Cooper's however it just says hi can you resend
