This Pub is Amazing!!!The Fisherman Pub is one of the best places to go. Although you can’t book, if you go at the right time, you will get a good seating. The service is brilliant and the staff are very courteous and the atmosphere is very welcoming and homely. The building is very spacious and the right temperature from the open fire. The portions for children are the right size and the food is well presented and I highly recommend.A big Thank you to all the staff ,who are very polite and we will definitely come again

Was extremely busy when we went.It took about an hour for our food to come, but was worth the wait, just passed time drinking and talking.Service was slow, but as I've said it was extremely busy. The staff were polite and helpful.

Took my daughter for a meal recently, we both had a lovely meal. I would recommend this eating establishment highly, in fact I went for the first time a few weeks prior with friends, same thing, top food, go and see for yourselves!

The Pub has had a recent refurbishment and its nicely done, but it still had the same character about it which is good.Staff where kept busy when we were there on a Friday evening and they where polite and tentative. And now the food, in my opinion the food has gone down hill, I have eaten here 40,50 times over the years and never really had any cause to complain. But the last 3 visits we have noticed a difference. Presentation of the food is fine, but I find when the pub is busy the food tends to be served colder than it should and sometimes you may not get everything on the plate that should be on the plate.I then have to call someone over to the table expain what's wrong etc etc etc. It's a shame as we like the pub but I think it's now run its course with me and time to look for another eating venue.

Great food and staff. Have been several times in the last few months and have enjoyed the food every time.

I love the atmosphere and the staff, but I am really writing this review hoping the chef reads it. I’m vegan, and the vegan menu has four main choices-two of them have wine ( I’m allergic to alcohol ) and one is too spicy, so I have to eat the same meal every time. I wish the chef would do a better vegan menu. Thank you.

Our table didn’t look like it had been cleaned, as my side had crumbs and was wet from where a drink had been placed. The vegetable tortilla basket was bland. There was a small kick of spice in the seasoning, but you’ll need to add salt at the table. A very underwhelming option for vegetarians. I think you should stick with the basics if you eat meat, as the rest of my party seemed to enjoy their meal more. They kindly allowed us to substitute the chips for garlic bread with the lasagne.

Busy but welcoming pub selling excellent, home made food. Despite how busy it was the staff were always on hand to take your order and help. Great service, good food and all at a reasonable price.
