The Mulberry Tree in Stevenage

Service is absolutely lovely. Kind, friendly & understanding (my youngest is very shy). I’m afraid the food was very freeze dried & deep fried. All in all it does what it says on the tin.

What a fantastic time we had on Mother’s Day at the Mulberry Tree!The roast dinner was delicious, beef cooked to perfection, plenty of veg and an incredible Yorkshire pudding!!! 😋The staff were all so lovely and the manager made a point of checking on all the tables, wishing the mums a happy Mother’s Day as he did, felt really genuine and so welcome - there was a little bunch of daffodils ready and waiting on the table for each mum too which was a nice gesture.Can’t wait to go back again!

The vegetarian burger is amazing, so flavourful, cooked very well keeping it very moist. The addition of the humous and guacamole added a great layer so perfect for vegans - empty plates all round. Service is always very good here and especially from the bartenders Aidan and Dan!Would recommend for a trip for food and drinks or for a dance on a weekend as the DJ who is booked regularly is fab!

Really pleasant atmosphere this afternoon for some drinks with friends. Well priced drinks and decided to stay for food. 3 lovely meals, one veggie, one steak and a fish and chips. All hot and well cooked. Forget about this place sometimes but a little gem in the Old Town. Will deffo be back.

Meet here weekly for work. Never any issues, coffee is amazing. Not all food is always in stock recently; however, it's always cooked lovely . Staff are friendly and helpful

Love this pub! The team are always so friendly and the atmosphere spot on.Wife and I eat here 2 or 3 times a month and are yet to be disappointed - food has always been delicious and amazing value for money!Food can be a little on the slow side sometimes but I would rather wait that bit longer and have a decent meal than have some microwaved rubbish launched out of the kitchen like it’s some sort of race as per some of the other pubs (cattle markets) in town!If you want a good bite to eat at a decent price, served by some of the happiest bar staff I’ve seen in years…then this is definitely the place!

Hands down, the best pub in Stevenage Old Town! Food delicious, amazing choice of gin and staff who are friendly, welcoming and actually seem like they enjoy being there (don’t see that anywhere else in town!). Highly recommend! 👍

Went here last night for some food. Food was amazing, there was 7 of us who ordered and all food was delicious. Staff were amazing and we can’t thank them enough. We will definitely be back soon

Vastly enjoyable Christmas meal with the gals. We were given a lovely welcome by our host Aidan who dealt warmly & proficiently with all our requests & timed the arrival of the different courses beautifully. All variations required of the set menu were met and with a real attempt to make the evening work for everyone. The table was decorated for the season & bar lights and a splendid tree made this a truly festive occasion. Chefs Matt & Dan cooked up a generous quantity of food that satisfied hearty appetites. The parfait, soup and nut roast were especially good.
