My apologies.. I reviewed the wrong venue . 5 star.We came up on saturday 9th for meatloaf concert had yummy cocktails ( glasses not big enough) lolWe had the mac cheese with waffle fries ..awesome ..would come back just for that and to try the rest of the menu Mac cheese normally is bland in pubs this was again yummy . Xx

I was in a hurry and needed quick service. The bar staff were really helpful, discussed with me options on the menu which were fast to serve. I went with a chicken wrap. Decent size portion and I didn't have to wait long.Lots of space there too, so didn't feel cramped, and was able to watch a bit of sport too. All decked out for the Six Nations, I can imagine it would be a great place to watch the Rugby.The Doom Bar was pretty cheap too, compared to a lot of places. So that was even better.All in it was more than affordable and I'm looking forward to going back when I don't have to rush.

Great pub. Great staff. Great beers. Lots of screens to watch sports. Cheap as chips! Close to the bus station and train station. What's not to love!! Highly recommended 👍🏻😎❤️😎👍🏻

Good quick service the staff are friendly, approach you with a smile and are really helpful, the food is great and didn’t have to wait for my food that long either, I would definitely come back to the old post office again really enjoyed my experience there

This is the place for those that find Whetherspoons too classy. Pleasant staff but very slow food service and no attempt to clear the dirty plates and glasses away from any table during the hour we were there.

Six of us waited so long to be served we walked out.... Bar was not busy barmaid was only nterested in chatting to the locals... Also she kept coughing in to her hands and did not wash them once. Avoid & go to the old town instead.

Lovely atmosphere and great service by Zoe who did everything to make my experience great, she made us all laugh so much! Sometimes it's all about the staff that make you return. :)

I had such a fabulous time here. The crisps are AMAZING! The people behind the bar are lovely and they smell nice. Paulina was very prompt at service and with a smile and a nice constitution. Very chatty. Recommended. Well done folks!

Brilliant.We only went in for drinks not food...The service was excellent behind the bar, friendly and spot on with drink requests.I would go again and with this experience I may try their food next time!
