W.J Rowe Ltd in Stevenage

i’ma local and this has always been my favourite fish and chips shop :)

Just I had order the fish and chips the girl who’s serviced me her customer service is rubbish and rude

Very friendly service. Lovely fish and chips. They do a loyalty card! Even had free warm mince pies over Christmas. Highly recommended. They are not the nearest to us, but worth going a bit further from home.

Best fish and chips in Hertfordshire. Service is brilliant too. I personally wouldn't get my fish and chips from anywhere else...very yummy

Chips not very hot. charged extra for a extra large cod which didn't seem that big.Payed for a wally which didn't get. Qeud behind 4 people only to be held up by delivery pick ups didn't seem to have a lot ready hench getting charged for a extra large when no large were ready.About 6 mths since been there.

Very friendly staff. Great fish and chips that are cooked to perfection. And a great price too.

This review about 47 years overdue. I used to stop here regularly as a kid for their chicken and mushroom pie and chips. As I'm in Sydney I'm not sure when the next visit might be!

High quality Chippy! Super friendly staff, I really love it when they know your name, that's a sign of excellent customer service & the shop is always really clean and well presented.Food is great, pro fryers, lager menu then most other places I've tried. I always come back here.

They have a decent reputation a out town so I was keen to try them out. The fish was great, I was less pleased with the chips, bit soft and squishy. Daughter had a sausage which was quite nice. I'd give them another try just to see if it was a once off. Serving staff were really nice and friendly.

These used to be the best fish and chips in town and I would buy them on a weekly basis but lately over the last few months the quality of the chips have gone down hill and I had some tonight which I ended up throwing half of them away. The fish is still good however on this occasion I only brought chips but if they have changed supplier for the chips I hope they change back or I will start buying them elsewhere!
