Soooooo impressed by this cafe right by Dunwich Beach and stunning heathland. We thought the cod and chips was one of the best we've had (on par with Wells), fish milky and flaky, chips crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, generous portion of mushy peas ordered on the side. Young men taking out the orders were always polite and willing to get sauces and water on this busy day. This cafe is a must for lunch! Lots of other lunch options served with chips/salad, plus ice cream sundaes, cakes, tea and coffee. Well-run, keep it up!

I can only echo the good reviews. Very nice, decently priced fish and chips. Great service from the staff. Large car park which is free with a donation box next to the pebble beach. Amazing to think that a whole town and major sea port was lost to the sea over the years.

Excellent fish and chips. I had Haddock and Chips and my wife had Cod, Chips and mushy peas. The chips were lovely and crisp and the fish was lovely and fresh with a great crispy batter. The price was also reasonable. The bonus was that they were done in rapeseed oil which we prefer. We can thoroughly recommend them.

Free parking (for coaches too), a short walk to the beach and public toilets. The cafe has great provision for seating, inside and out.Fish, chips and mushy peas with a can of pop for just over a tenner and a right tasty treat. Well worth a visit. The sausage rolls are chunky too 👍

Don't be mistaken by the term 'tea rooms', this is a quality fish and chips type gaff with good looking coffe and cakes too.Free parking in the car oark opposite (with an option to donate cash to local charities).Water for dogs, plenty of seating and tasty fish and chips (cod or haddock and chips are just short of £11. I have a small appetite so shared with my husband which was ample for a lunch.

We are regular diners at the delightful Flora Tea Rooms. The home made dishes are always delicious, the deserts are utterly scrumptious! We’ll see you all again very soon. Keely & Rob

What a lovely tea room. We rang ahead as we knew they were close to winter closing time (3pm) and they stayed open and served us a fabulous take away fish and chip lunch. I'm sure others have said but the quality of the food here is a cut above. The chips are generous and crispy coated and the fish is not overcooked and thus really tasty. In the high season I think they open to 5.30pm but worth checking the website.

Brilliant fish and chips. My Haddock was beautifully cooked, flaky and clean. The cod was as good and the chips perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful, so a brilliant meal after a bracing walk on the beach.

Showing us how service should be done. Fab food in a glorious setting. Super friendly staff alone make me want to go back. Cod and chips twice with peas. Simples.

Fast and friendly service with good selection of food, including specials of the day. Cod and chips, with mushy peas, a real seaside treat.
