Barbecue House in Suffolk Coastal

We wanted Fish and chips. My wife specifically asked "do you use frozen chips". They answered, no. They lied. The chips were hard and the thin slice of fish was not Cod. Covered in under cooked slimy batter, it was awful. £8.50 each for inedible mush. Do not use. Disgusting.

Order of 2 kebabs and one chicken wrap, over 55 minutes waiting we called them back. They recognised voice saying they been busy but will now deliver, only after call. Food then arrived in 5 mins, barely warm but we were starving by then . Wrap was just eatable whereas kebabs were literally dripping fat and tasted terrible.Food and service here gone drastically down hill.Avoid where possible

Flipping enjoyed the Chicken Kebab always brilliant every time. Son had kids meal sausage and chips and it was great cos son is fussy.

Waited AGES and only ordered fish and chips, which wasnt great. Stick to making kebabs and leave the fish and chips to the English

Outstanding service, friendly staff and classic fish and chips. I've never felt obliged to leave a review but the staff were exceptional. Helped carry food out to my car down the road when it was too much to carry myself. Thanks guys! :)

We were happy with our meals from BBQ House. It was tricky as we were looking for somewhere to get food quickly as it was pouring with rain. Service was reasonable and staff were efficient enough. It was a shame that staff weren't wearing masks or gloves (and I did see one member of staff take a piece of cucumber directly out of the salad bar and put it in his mouth - I didn't see him sanitise his hands afterwards but perhaps he did). There was no atmosphere or small talk but I was only there for a take-away so it didn't matter. The food was nice and we enjoyed it. The pitta on the kebabs was a little soggy with liquid from the kebabs but this happens sometimes.

Don't know why I'm seeing 3.4 stars out of 5. Never ever had a problem here always quick, foods good quality portions decent. Been going here for over 10 years

Great kebab, I use them all the time because they're kebabs aren't greasy with that yellow gunk you get on most others (blah).. reasonable prices and good delivery time. Only problem is if you order through the app then you can't go back and check your order, which is annoying. I ordered from them, put 2 burgers, chips, salad and kebab and I meant to delete salad but must've deleted kebab by accident and didn't realise. I had to ring them up to ask about the lack of kebab when I should've just been able to check back on the app, like on just eat

Have used this take away for several years. Chicken/Shish Kebab always very good and burgers are better quality than McDonald's despite being around the same price. Delivery is usually about 45 mins, occasionally the chips can be cold by this time.
