Whilst the staff were friendly, the service was very slow. The starters were fine but with few frills. After a long wait for the main course the pork belly was very chewy and the red cabbage over cooked. Could do better...

Brought 2 chicken roast very bland. Food was definitely microwaved ! Wouldn’t be returning!! 2 chicken roasts, Camembert and 2 cokes came to £50. Very overpriced!!

Used to be a great place for a hand made pizza see they have reverted to bought in bases, very disappointed, car park was empty when we arrived, so different to pre-covid, always packed out. After trying several other restaurants which were fully booked we thought we would give it a go again, shan't be returning any time soon

Incredibly disappointed with my visit to blacktiles. I order humous with toasted bread from the specials menu for £7.50. The humous was over salted and tasted like the bland store bought variety. The bread was toasted too much that it crumbled all over me and the table. It was also toasted too much that it cut the roof of my mouth and hurt my gums.I was also disappointed with the service of the waiting staff. The waiter that delivered my drinks spilt the top of my beer onto the floor and this splashed up on to my shoes. Despite verbally stating they were aware of this, they did not apologize or offer any items to clean the mess up. The puddle of beer was left on the floor and they did not attempt to clear up this hazard. I cleared it up with my only serviette as I was concerned for members of the public also dining in the restaurant.Will not be dining here again.

Stopped off last minute for a Sunday lunch.Staff very attentive, service quick.Food was top notch as always.Reading reviews that the food expensive??? £15 for a main these days is pretty much the norm.Comparing with a Wetherspoons and claiming food better there??? You are comparing freshly cooked food to a chain that microwaves half it's menu. Get real...

We had a great night celebrating mu daughter's 21st. The staff team was fabulous and very patient! My only criticism is the limited menu. That said, everyone enjoyed their dinner. Thank you, Blacktiles...we'll be back!

Very pleasant new coffee shop forming part of the Black Tiles pub in Martlesham. Very well sited and so much calmer than the various coffee outlets on Martlesham Heath were traffic and parking is such a problem. This is a very relaxed atmosphere with excellent service, well prepared coffee and a wide selection of cakes with sausage rolls as an alternative. A much needed addition to the area!!

Lovely atmosphere. Service was pretty good food was nice. There aren't a lot of Gluten free options but the chef managed to rustle up something for my wife who is gluten intolerant. Good sized car park.
