Coach and Horses in Suffolk Coastal

Stopped at this pub yesterday. Spent an hour there sat out in the beer garden, we had the daughters dog with us. The pub provides water for the dogs. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Came in here for Mother’s Day 2022, can honestly say the young lady who served us was great at her job, it’s just a pity that the food didn’t live up to the standard. I have visited here many times and have good memories here. It is unfortunate that the one important occasion I brought my family here didn’t live up to the previous standard. We all had the roasts (as it was Sunday) and it was advertised as a luxurious roast for £16.50, coming with the meat of choice, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and vegetables. The meat was, admittedly, delightful. However, the vegetables were completely rock hard and we only received one £2 sized piece of cauliflower for cauliflower cheese on each of our places. A member of our party, who is a coeliac, asked for extra potatoes in exchange for a Yorkshire and cauliflower cheese (which contained flour so they couldn’t eat it). They received 3 potatoes total and therefore were unimpressed with the Main. The dessert was lovely, and the manager and server were accommodating with our comment on the food and reduced the total bill which was appreciated, but we would have the preferred portion sizes that we observed on the walk in (which is we noted, were much larger than what we received). I genuinely love this restaurant and this has been my first negative experience with this pub so it is not something to fully judge it by, but just something to keep in mind. I am just disappointed that my mother had a lunch that I could have legitimately made better at home and in my opinion, when going to a restaurant to eat, it is expected that the food is better than could be prepared at home.

Went to the Coach and Horses on Mothers Day with my wife and teenage son. It was really busy but despite that the staff were really friendly and helpful and went out of their way to give you a really good experience. The food was excellent. Really pleased with everything about our visit

We reserved a table and place was looking promising. Maybe high expectations, however, it was a bit disappointing. Inside and outside sitting areas. Good size car park. Busy inside. Nice surrounding, we have been served quickly. We really been looking for homemade nachos. All have been very greesy. Same with everything else. Onion rings, chips. Way too oily. My Beetroot burger was OK. My partner wanted chili sauce and after confirming that not sweet chili but just chili he still received sweet chili. So nice place but not that good of the food. I wouldn't go again unfortunately.

Really good welcome and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the Sunday Special Roast, both Beef and Pork Belly were very tasty. Very impressively large Yorkshire Puddings and a great quality gravy. Will definitely be coming back. The normal menu also looked very tempting 😋

Beautifully cooked variety of food. I had the suet steak pie and my colleague had the gammon . All well served to us. Space between the tables was evident. The staff friendly and willingness to be helpful

Absolutely superb. Great food and very friendly staff, with lovely comfortable interior, but still keeping some of the old decor, will definitely be returning. We'll done.

Very nice pub with friendly staff. Menu had a good range of options. Smoked fish platter was excellent. Our main meals were very tasty with lovely fresh vegetables.

I was pleasantly surprised. The food was flavorful, savory, and succulent. The waitress was prompt and polite.

Fantastic early dinner today. Staff squeezed us in last minute. The restaurant is spacious and clean. Food was delightful and the staff were very attentive and helpful.
