Our family favourite “plaice”to eat BEST FISH N CHIPS in East Anglia - taken many friends here from all over and highly recommend you trying it out not just for food, drinks 🍷🍺🍷🍺and choices but friendly happy staff that are very obliging, community spirited well run restaurant. 🐟🐟🍿🍿🍿🐟🐟great for take away too during pandemic! Beautiful fish and chips. But the best thing about this place is the staff. Always really friendly. I used to be a regular until the pandemic hit but have shielded for two years. Today my husband and I had our first proper lunch out since the pandemic and I was nervous about being inside with unmasked people. We asked for and were given a very quiet table in the corner. The staff all wore masks and it felt incredibly safe. Thank you all

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. Also COVID safe. Worth the wait as cooked to order. We got the freebie sausage and chips and a drink which would have normally cost £3.95 and they still gave us a decent size portion. They didn’t ask though if we wanted salt and vinegar but wouldn’t expect them to for a freebie. There are a lot of fish and chip shops in Felixstowe that are also very good but giving away free to kids how can you not give them 5 star especially when prices of food are rising. ⭐️👍😊

We have used this restaurant regularly for some time, and have always been very impressed with the high quality of the food. It has always been perfectly cooked, and they also have the very best condiments. The owners and staff are all extremely helpful and friendly. We highly recommend it.

Went here as I’ve been told it was nice, it was good but thinking special. Very expensive for take out £4.90 for regular chip and batted sausage. Did not ask if I wanted salt and vinegar on my chips and when I started to put it on my self at a table had a member of staff standing watching me then telling me I can’t use the source for people eating in I had to buy source as I was take out. Will never go back!

Great place that makes me always come back to. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly.

A 40 mile round trip that was so worth making. Everyone made us feel that we were important, taking time to talk and share views without ever intruding. The food was of course excellent. Well done and thank you to all at Fish Dish.

Really nice place. It's simple but cosy surrounding. Very nice members of staff. Delicious food. My family had fish and chips. They have been well surprised by the fish. It was fresh and very tasty. I have been pleased with my side dishes too. We could not make our minds about the drinks, so we have received tasters. Which was really nice. Food have been served quick enough. Place clean enough. Not too much to choose for vegetarian but it's fish and chips restaurant so i would not expect any more then that.Ps. Lovely view through the window.

Really enjoyed our visit to the Fish Dish restaurant. The regular Cod and Chips were delicious - well cooked and substantial, and came with homemade tartar sauce and bread and butter. The proprieter, who served us was very friendly and helpful and. for me, the 60's music was fun and enjoyable. All in all a very pleasant lunchtime experience. I would highly recommend!

Drove 45 minutes to try their chicken parmo. Usually we drive the 4.5 hours up to Middlesbrough and make a weekend of it so was excited at the thought of somewhere closer. Unfortunately it just didn't have it. The chicken was a bit ropey, the chicken to crispy coating ratio wasn't right, the bechamel sauce (of which there wasn't enough) and cheese didn't go right to the edges of the chicken. The middle bits were good but it was all far too greasy - a good one shouldn't be. Chip shop style chips don't go with a parmo, they should be chunky chips. And the garlic mayo was poor. It was on the sweet side, it should be more savoury and stronger in flavour to cut through the cheese. Not awful but not a patch on the gems you can find in the Middlesbrough area.
