Fox inn in Suffolk Coastal

Lovely traditional English pub in the village of Darsham. Clearly very popular even for a Tuesday evening. Although menu is not especially extensive, food is excellent. Great service as well.

We hadn't really any idea what this pub would be like, what very pleasant surprise when we arrived, the pub is small but has great cozy atmosphere very comfortable.The food turns out to be something else the best quality so tasty I still can't get over my fries outstanding.I would recommend booking, we will definitely be going again.

Absolutely gorgeous meal tonight, tasty and well presented. Service fabulous.Thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend and am definitely returning next week. Supported these guys through lockdown as they provided takeaway meals throughout. Can’t fault them one bit.

Highly recommend. The staff are super friendly and it has a really nice relaxed atmosphere. The food is so, so good! We have never had a bad experience dining here. We usually choose to go here each year for our anniversary aswell, seeing as we enjoy it so much.

Such a lovely, traditional pub! Staff are so nice and friendly and food was delicious! Portion sizes were good too and wait time not long. Oh and lovely cocktails! Would thoroughly recommend!

Friendly place (special mention of Paddy), and lovely real fire, so nice atmosphere, but it wasn't quiet. The food is high quality but priced accordingly. There is only a little parking and we parked along the road. The toilets are good and clean. Bring a book or dvd and they have bookshelf where you can swop it/them. 👍

Service was superb. All meals were really good. Lovely country pub. Just one minor thing, the batter on the cod and prawns was not great.

Found this place by total accident and so pleased I did. The food was amazing, well presented and well priced. The mash was the best I've ever had! The staff were so friendly and accommodating too. Will definitely be going back there soon.

Delightful little pub in Darsham village. Crystal & Scott were really efficient, helpful & the food was excellent. We were a party of 8 & all meals arrived together, didn't have the fish & chips but 2 that did said it was amazing. 4 had the buttermilk chicken which was really good also & 2 had the day special of salmon fillet with new pots & fresh veg, hubby said it was really good. Desserts were limited but all very good & a good quality ice cream pleased to say. All in all very enjoyable. The only negatives were: lack of parking & toilets whilst absolutely immaculate were down 2 steps. I phoned ahead & Crystal put bollards out to secure a space, but thankfully we were first there so we all got parked. I am disabled & we had a 98 year old celebrating his birthday along with his 93 year old sister, so hence the parking & toilet issues.There does appear to be building work going on but not sure what is actually being done. It's a very quaint little place & would certainly return 😀
