Golden Panda in Suffolk Coastal

Lovely restaurant was very quiet when we got there, wait staff were very friendly and polite. Menu was very comprehensive, we had mixed appetisers for 4 people, chicken satay, spare ribs, duck spring rolls,sesame toast and crispy seaweed. I had chicken and sweetcorn soup, and the rest had Mongolian crispy lamb, my husband and me had traditional beef and chicken curry with egg fried rice. The food was gorgous and hot. We only had soft drinks with our meal. By the time we were leaving the restaurant was lot busier. They also do take out which was quite busy as well. Would definitely recommend this restaurant 👌

Staying away on holiday and had a menu in the cottage for this place. I have to say I have tried a lot of Chinese restaurants and this was by far the worst i have ever eating in my life. Crispy shredded beef was soggy batter and rock hard beef. Salt and pepper chips is a well know dish that contains spring onions chills and flavouring. Not at this Chinese you get chips with pepper on them. Prawn toast a slushy mess. Thai green curry just spice no flavour. Calamari just soggy and chewy. As staying 20 minutes away I didn’t even entertain the idea of returning this food as we was terrified they may offer us more.

Shocking service and not even an apology for clearly forgetting to put my order through. Ordered a 1 person meal at 5pm for collection at 8pm. Turned up at 8 to be told it was going to be another 25 minutes for a basic main meal, soup and crackers when the person in front had just ordered and was told 15 minutes. No apologies just excuses by staff.

Just back from living overseas for 4 years, and we couldn't wait to get a good Chinese takeaway. Oh boy, this wasn't it. The sweet and sour vegetables dish was dreadful- a grey, watery sauce and old-tasting vegetables. We couldn't eat it. Photo attached, next to the extra portion of sweet and sour sauce we ordered (which looked and tasted completely different to the sauce accompanying the veg).The won tun were soggy, the satay skewers had too many slimey mushrooms and a sauce that tasted claggy with cornflour. The rice, the seaweed and the black beans with tofu were pretty good, but overall this was a big disappointment ☹️

Great visit with friend's that are local to Woodbridge... Table for 4 Booked late on day, food good, service brilliant, friendly, easy parking within 200 metres... A treasured memory

Ate here 20 years ago,still remember how lovely it was,I had lemon chicken my brother had sweet and sour soup.id love to have a menu to remember it.i was a witness for the ex husband, who robbed the air force.said I was a dependent when I left years ago

Red Thai veg curry so hot it destroyed the flavour. Chicken Ginger was good though. Mushroom Chow mein was ok

Decided to visit and were delighted to get a table at very short notice. There is a new menu and the food we had was absolutely delicious. We really enjoyed the Thai red curry. Well worth visiting to try the new menu. Very attentive service too

Just had another delicious meal at the golden panda this evening. The inside of the restaurant has also recently been redecorated so looks very modern and smart. We're veggie and love the tofu black bean sauce and rice noodles here. The large veggie spring rolls are honestly the best spring rolls I've ever had! the staff here are always so polite and helpful and the owner/chef makes the effort to come out and say hello and check how the food was. Such a lovely, family restaurant! :-)
