His Lordships Library in Suffolk Coastal

Was privileged to attend the Q &A session with a Joanne Harris this evening. What a wonderful facility and offering from Suffolk libraries it was, thank you. Joanne is one of my favourite authors and it’s made me want to revisit and re read all her books again. Reserved a couple with the library. Please keep up your fantastic work, we need our libraries very much as they are a very important asset to our communities across Suffolk. 👍🏻👋😊

I take my daughter this library every Thursday, she loves the atmosphere and gets a lot of work done!

The person with the long skirt, which got caught in the chair, was super helpful and knew exactly what to do to help me. Very friendly and welcoming.Library is very nice, plenty of space.

A lovely spacious library. Very large with lots of areas to sit and read. There is an excellent period reading room on the first floor with plenty of tables and space to work, sit and read or study. The library has a little bit of everything, there is also a cafe.

It's nice, the side entrance is the only open place, they seem to have taken great precautions in keeping the place sanitized.

Best ( and unique one) library in the area. Study area very beautiful, separated from kids and computers. Toilet facilities always an issue. I just hope it does not get closed or ruin as the others.

Very good local service, some friendly staff.... Good selection of books, large child's play area great to incorporate reading into play time, many computer terminals with time limits so there's only the possibility of a 30 minute max waiting time downstairs... And 60 minutes maximum potential waiting time upstairs... There is also a large study room on the second floor with free electricity ports for laptop and phone/tablet chargers (bring own charger) and in the top floor I believe they may have conference or meeting rooms.... Maybe bookable

I always come here to study for my exams. Peaceful. Historic. And has air-con in some of the rooms! Staff, are mostly very helpful. Though some senior staff have lost a significant proportion of their nicer manners.
