Perfectly adequate. My roll/bap was very difficult to cut so had to pick up and eat: also not easy. The others in my party were happy enough so maybe I was just unlucky. On this occasion the toilet left much to be desired as it was badly blocked. Hopefully when it was reported it was sorted out. Despite misgivings would go again; always give places a second chance. Try it.

Loved this quirky dining experience. Popped in for a coffee and snack and am glad that we did.My bagel with avocado and melting halloumi was delicious. The pineapple and passion fruit slice was fresh and equally enjoyable. The selection of food is impressive and served quickly. The staff are friendly and efficient adding to the enjoyable experience.

Love the coffee and food which is why I come back but the staff aren't good. No smile on greeting and for a weekend no organisation. No cheese scones (which are good )available as still cooking and will be 10mins so they have let the stock go to low and it was only morning! Then the poor girl couldn't take it off bill and the staff didn't help at first. I wasn't then guided where to collect the drink so got in the way of people . Another lady in queue hadn't got her table no.so had to go and find it, perhaps put some guidance on entering. Will return though as good tasting coffee and food.

An obvious local "hotspot", as it appears to be the only cafe in the locale. The place is large and clean with seating inside and out, including the two levels of seating inside. In regards to the ground level seating, the views from which, one would never consider awe inspiring. The servers are pleasant and polite. The food is stylish and aspirational, somewhat reflective of the area with prices to match (£3.25 for a sausage roll, but served with a very tasty spicy jam). Whatever one's impression of its siting, it is popular for a fairly good reason, the food is very pleasant and most definitely edible.

Rude staff, told to find table number, then come back to order- resulted in loss of place in line. Just a total pointless process. Then to find the numbers were not on tables due to a shift around! Pointless. It is not cheap here which just does not fit in with the rudeness experienced and the fundamental chaos that carries on around the place. We came after shooting for a mini film, we had been on the beach all day cold. I just wanted some food and drink. Who knew this would be such a horrible experience. We were prepared to spend a great deal in the local proximity, feeding a group of people, but no one felt comfortable. 1 toilet was not enough either considering the expansion. Will not be coming back or recommending.I would describe this place as overpriced pretentious chaos.

Food was fantastic and well presented and the service was alright too! but the place was dirty! food bits all over the floor around the tables the toilet was not clean, i had to get up and get myself another glass as the one i had was dirty. This was around lunch time and i can understand a slight drop in standards with higher volumns of foot traffic but most of this had gone at this time.I cannot knock the food though, it was the only redeeming factor!

We’re (very) regulars to the Honey + Harvey in Melton. Excellent every visit. Friendly service, great coffee and the food is amazing (breakfast granola in the photo, but breakfast muffin is also a family favourite). Highly recommended.

Was really looking forward to visiting this place following a recommendation, however I was wholly disappointed. I don't mind paying over the odds for a decent breakfast experience but £14 for a breakfast plus an additional £3 for a coffee is unreasonable considering; we had to collect our own cutlery, the dining area had many tables uncleared of previous customer plates, dirty tables in general and was full of flies. In addition, my rather expensive breakfast arrived lukewarm and the entire plate covered in chopped chives, the sausage patty was hard and cold, the eggs undercooked, toast with no butter. They did remake my breakfast when I asked, as I cannot eat chives, however what came back to me was even worse than the first plate of food, plus I had to go searching for another set of cutlery! Would not recommend or return.
