Really good food at a fantastic price. Staff really friendly

Just had Sunday lunch for four and all were absolutely delighted. Best pub grub we've ever had. Food could not have been better, generous helpings and very reasonably priced. Very busy and a bit of a wait but we'll worth it. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We've already booked for Mothers Day to avoid disappointment.Went again on Mother's Day, six of us this time and all was just as good. Looking forward to our next visit, which will definitely be soon.

A lovely pub that we had lunch in with family members. Good food selection to choose from the menu. Two of us had ham egg & chips the other two had hot salmon potatoes & salad. All very nice with clean plates at the end. One of the party had enough room to try out the lemon meringue pie which was also finished off quickly. You won't be disappointed if you dine here good portion size and value for money. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome.

Excellent venue. Very comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend as been a favourite of our family for many years now.

Had a great Burns night, food as usual was excellent along with first class service from Steve and Sarah. Look forward to attending many more themed nights. Don’t change anything it an absolutely first class pub.

I am bowled over by this beautiful pub, delightful welcome and just a short trek from my workshop. Terrific beers, well kept and a place now on my agenda, most certainly. Walks all around the village, it is a total hit!

Super country pub. Friendly staff, who are welcoming, extremely hospitable, and very accomodating. We arrived for some lunch not realising that they weren't doing food at lunch due to being fully booked later on in the day. They put some amazing sandwiches and chips together so we didn't leave disappointed ☺️ looking forward to visiting again, when we'll be sure to book! Great range of real ales (we enjoyed some lovely pints of Tindells) and amazing food.

Really lovely pub. Friendly landlord and friendly (adopted!) pub cat. Dog friendly and vegetarian friendly. The veggie lasagne was generous and rammed with flavour, the chips good. My other half had the steak pie which, though a topper, had good pastry and lovely slow-cooked beef inside. Impressed to see a selection of non-alcoholic beers including Adnam’s Ghostship, alongside (alcoholic) real ale
