Food and service were excellent. A fantastic menu with a great balance of dishes on offer, genuinely hard to chose! Very friendly service, a really welcoming place and well worth visiting.

Great, friendly service and beautiful food. Reasonably priced and suitable for dates, families or lunch with friends. The sea bass and risotto was absolutely stunning.

Lovely resturant with a great atmosphere and extensive wine menu. Service was also great. However we were a little disappointed by the meal - fish was clearly very fresh and cooked nicely but plate as a whole was lacking in flavour. The restaurant is obviously well loved so maybe we just caught the kitchen on an off day!

The servers and kitchen were very accommodating of dietary requirements and had good allergen-free dessert options. The wine was good.We were a little disappointed by the flavours and portion size of some of the dishes. We felt service was mixed but we received a warm welcome, which was nice.But many people around us were regulars and absolutely loving their visit, so it may just be personal preference.

Had a brilliant birthday meal today and the staff were very welcoming. Food was fantastic and the surroundings were extremely ambient.Couldn’t recommend enough. Hats off to the host who especially made us feel welcome with friendly banter.

Fantastic restaurant. We now make a point of booking a table here whenever we visit Aldeburgh. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food is amazing and they always make sure our little Jack Russell gets a treat, thank you 😊.

Been to Aldeburgh many time but for whatever reason have never been here. Not sure why as it's fantastic. Great friendly service and the food was amazing. And as for the dessert. Best I've had for as long as I can remember

I would venture to say the best restaurant in Aldeburgh in terms of service, food, staff and value. Everyone was just lovely and the food was top notch. I would definitely make a reservation a few days before during busy times. Pick up some gin whilst there, like we did!
