Really excellent! Lovely food, great location with good outside seating. Will definitely visit again if in the area.

Stopped for lunch. The food was faultless, very good portions, services was great and it was all reasonably priced. I’ll definitely be returning.

What a lovely tea room. We rang ahead as we knew they were close to winter closing time (3pm) and they stayed open and served us a fabulous take away fish and chip lunch. I'm sure others have said but the quality of the food here is a cut above. The chips are generous and crispy coated and the fish is not overcooked and thus really tasty. In the high season I think they open to 5.30pm but worth checking the website.

We (2 adults, dog, toddler) had a lovely lunch here today. Basic but delicious fish and chips with peas, twice, and fish fingers and chips for the littleun. The fish was really good, tasted fresh, beautifully flaky and the batter crispy. The chips were also very nice, hot and crispy. We had two really good cups of tea with more hot water to top up the pot. Obvs good T bags because it was a good strength! It was sunny but freezing cold and blustery and they were happy for us to bring dog in with us, there was another couple in there with a dog and they seem very dog friendly. It seems like a good place to go if you’re having a family day out. They had cakes and snacks too if you’re just after a drink, snack and a break from the elements! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was there was no baby change table in the accessible toilet, the room was big enough so would be possible to add one.It all seemed nice and clean and recently decorated in nice beachy colour scheme, and the staff were all friendly and approachable. Will visit again :)

Very friendly and helpful staff, serving good food. Very welcoming interior, lots of internal and external seating. Dog friendly. We had good value bacon and sausage rolls. Just short distance from free car park to a very long shingle beach.

Showing us how service should be done. Fab food in a glorious setting. Super friendly staff alone make me want to go back. Cod and chips twice with peas. Simples.

·

Fast and friendly service with good selection of food, including specials of the day. Cod and chips, with mushy peas, a real seaside treat.

I've been here many times, either on the motorbike, with my family or friends. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced (for Suffolk coast anyway!). Fish is always fresh and tastes it. Staff are lovely. Setting is amazing. What's not to love?

Disappointing yet expensive fish and chips. The fish had no taste and the batter was the best part! Maybe this was just an off day.
