It's great to have a nice Indian takeaway in haverhill again hope you get the sitting in back up and running

The food was good however it's absolutely a late delivery. Was promised online to be delivered by 18:40 but after that was told online it's going to be 19:10 and then 19:30. By the time we received the food (after three disappointing calls to New maharaja), we finally received them at 19:50 (despite online stated "enjoy food" - indicating we have received the order when we haven't even seen the driver/ sender yet!!). Very disappointing. We understand it may be busy as its weekend and near to Xmas but DO NOT promise something you cannot deliver!!!

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered at 6.30pm. Food still had not arrived by 9pm despite phone calls promising it was on the way. Too tired to eat it. Will never be ordering again. Wouldn’t let me post with zero stars.

Took 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive after 2 phone calls asking how long it would be. Finally turned up and everything was cold. Most went in the bin won’t be ordering again. The beer we ordered was warmer than the food. Has gone down hill from last time we had food from them. Don’t waste your money

Totally useless, food took hour and a half , called to check on delivery time and was met with a rude response. We ordered vegetable samosas and they delivered meat (plastic box said veg), only found out when bitten into. Paid for all chutneys, pickles and onion salad. Balls’d that up too. Popadoms were stale and chewy.Have been using this place for years but lately it has gone downhill, time for a time I think 👎

sadly, one of the worst curries I've ever had. I can understand why it would need heating as it was 45 minutes later than promised. but it was aweful. I ordered one of the house specials which cost more but honestly tasted like chicken in tomato soup.

Ordered a takeaway meal today and was very disappointed.all food was cold and the chappati and naan were stale. Meat portions were extremely small. My daughter ordered chicken and chips which looked awful and was almost inedible. Will never use these again. Very very poor

Awful restaurant and takeaway. The food is poorly made using low quality ingredients. I ordered a takeaway, which took 2 hours to arrive, consequently cold and for the most part inedible... Their prawn puri is an offence to indian food with the Jalfrezi a contender. The staff are very very rude and wes simple would never return. Maybe time for a new 'New Maharaja'.

Will not be using any more, the food may taste nice but i don't want to have to wait the whole night waiting for it to arrive, if you can't handle take away meal orders, then don't do take aways. Your delivery times are laughable. Ordered on line at 18:30 time now 19:45 and still no food.

Really nice food and friendly staff. A small restaurant inside but cosy and you are made to feel welcome. Have a great takeaway system where they stamp your loyalty card. After four meals you get the 5th and save the price of your lowest price meal on the card. My last meal cost me 22p :)
