Whenever we go to Aldeburgh we allow extra time for Munchies. Whether it’s for a delicious coffee or a more substantial meal we know the quality is not only excellent but guaranteed. Susie the owner is a legend and so friendly and helpful as are all her staff. Aldeburgh is lucky to have a cafe such as Munchies 👏

Walked in 14.10. Straight away staff explained that you write your order on a pad and staff will collect. Staff came and went past us and took order from table next to us. There were 3 tables occupied where we sat, including ours. After 20 minutes we gave up and left. Staff seemed to have tunnel vision.

I love Munchies! ❤️ I am visiting from the states and have been in an Aldeburgh rental for almost 2 months. Munchies has been a lifesaver for the nights when I did not want to cook , the frozen takeaways are delicious and quick to reheat at home. And it's great that most are gluten free-read the label-! The bangers & mash, chickpea stew, beef ghoulash and chicken parm are delicious! going to try the cod & salmon soon. The staff is super friendly, the queues are quick, and it's also nice to dine inside and outside on the patio seating. and I love the jacket potatoes, husband loves the pastries, coffee and baps! the owner is lovely and present. really nice little cafe!

Stopped in here to grab a coffee as I was working in the area. Lovely place! The coffee was great. Although I didn’t eat, the food looked pretty darn good too. Next time I’m in Aldeburgh I’ll be sure to call in again.Reasonably priced too, as they say, you get what you pay for. Thanks

Wonderful food and drink, comfy restaurant, and fantastic friendly service. Munchies are one of the few places in Suffolk to open at 7:30 every day - perfect for us early risers who like a good breakfast. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant place and the owner she's fabulous never laughed so much!

Always friendly and cheerful service - even when it's busy. The coffee is good and there's a good selection of pastries and cakes. A mocha and croissant are my perfect start to the day. The sandwiches are freshly made with local produce and really, really good!

Dreadful. £9.75 for two sausage rolls, a can of Coke and a bottle of water. The sausage rolls were horrible, nowhere near as good as Greggs. Don't waste your money here.

Just got 2 rolls, poorly made with a giant lump of cheese in one corner and one slice of tomato, most of what I bit into was just bread, the pan au chocolate were atleast good but still, expected more for the price.

We had a baked potato (+sausage & beans), a Cornish Pastie with a cup of tea & a coffee. Everything was reasonably priced (unusual for Aldeburgh High Street as a few days previously we’d paid a fortune for some pretentious tasteless affair in a cafe further up the street!), & the cafe seemed clean. My only complaint is the pastie was microwave heated so it went soggy (sorry I had to drop a star for this!). ALL the staff were extremely friendly, efficient & tolerant of my two large (but friendly) dogs who kept getting in their way! Sat outside & watched the ‘world pass by.’ The bottom line is we would definitely come back & use this place to eat/drink in the future!
