Paddy & Scott's in Suffolk Coastal

Lovely location. Friendly and helpful staff. Prices are a bit high (typical for the waterfront). Great ambience. Only 4 stars as the cheesy (not) scone was mega dry and not pleasant.. I complained about that and received a polite apology and some vouchers for a coffee at a later date. Recommended? Yeah, why not. Give it a go (just avoid the 'cheese' scones!)

A clean, Classy venue, well styled for a relaxing yet modern place to enjoy a coffee or hot drink of your choice with a lovely view. It’s screened off and raised outside for a more private outdoor dining experience, set apart from passers by. Theres a loyalty card available and a selection of parties and cakes too. I haven’t tried them all but the chocolate cake was delicious. Great to buy from a local business with global ethics in place. The staff are friendly and engaging , Thanks for always being so welcoming. Will be visiting again soon.

Great coffee, great atmosphere and a great view of the boats on the waterfront. They do table service now which is fantastic and the Covid 19 measures in place are very well implemented. I have been working from here so I can confirm that the WiFi is good and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Easily the nicest coffee shop in town.

The best place to go grab a coffee from whilst your on the waterfront! I have been twice now but the coffee is so good it's quickly becoming a regular routine. Staff are really friendly too and the food looks amazing!

I have found a coffee shop that literally combines all of my favourite things/must haves - 1. Dog friendly!! 2. The espresso is absolutely amazing, the taste, the effect it has, none of that gross after taste you get elsewhere smooth, you name it its perfect. 3. Great food - I am a cake lover and their bakes are delicious, the rest of the food looks incredible too! 4. Location - the waterfront is a favourite place to start our dog walk and either head to Hollywells/Christchurch Park from there. 5. Great people working there - nothing worse than a coffee shop you cannot build up a rapport with the team members, not to mention they are so passionate about their brand. If you are in the area ( or not! ) I highly recommend visit, COVID measures are bang on too, there is currently outdoor seating with a gorgeous view, and I am sure once we resume normality indoor seating will be available too, but honestly even if seating is occupied just grabbing a takeaway and taking in the scenery is a must. Thank you guys we will be back - a lot!

I went for a coffee here today with my two young children. The two men working were absolutely brilliant! My daughter is very hyper and attention seeking and they played along and made her day! She did run in to the window as it was so clean though, but one of the men got her some ice and helped her while I ran after the other one! The coffee looked beautiful and tasted lovely. Overall amazing experience! Thanks guys!

I’m a big coffee lover and really enjoy This coffee , I have also been enjoying the chilled drinks menu too ! My favourite at the moment is the B4 smoothie another great way to kick start your day 😁

Best coffee anywhere near the waterfront! And probably the best in Ipswich, Lovely location but made even better by the awesome staff who are very helpful, friendly and always smiling (even under the masks!) special shout out to Tom and Dan who obviously love crafting the delicious coffees, awesome as always guys ☕🍵

It's incredible what Paddy & Scott's are doing at this cafe. Amazing coffee and the staff are really friendly (Dan, your flair is always on point!). I use this space to work a lot, they have great BuzzBars with charging points to keep my laptop juiced. Plus the atmosphere is just a nice place to work.
