Queens Head in Suffolk Coastal

Really excellent food with perfect options for all tastes. I had the sea bass chowder which was exceptional! Attentive polite service. We loved our meals! Thank you!

Lovely pub, decor is spot on, service was also A+, my kids were a little unruly and kept (accidentally) knocking the cutlery off the table, literally before it would hit the ground the waiter was next to us with a fresh one, couldn't fault him at all. The food was good although the pork sounded better on the menu then how it was produced, is was nice, just not how I imagined it or how I would have done it (yes I'm a chef amongst other things so I can have such opinions), but I haven't removed a star for this because I can appreciate the effort, plus the quality and presentation are still very good, they deserve the 5 stars I have given. Lovely local beer, I had the golden ale, it was very nice and my wife had an excellent red. Kids options are also very thoughtful. I would definitely go back.

We have eaten here 3 times now and each meal has been of a very high standard and absolutely delicious. The Chef offers a very creative menu and is obviously very good at his job. The staff are friendly and helpful and always welcome our little dog with a bowl of water and some treats. Outstanding service!

In a lovely location, Olde Worlde feel and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Staff were smiling all evening and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as the customers. Food was a little bit pricey but lovely. There was live music from Underdog Duo who were very good. Regular live music, quiz night 1st Thursday of every month and other events. Highly recommended, but make sure you book.

Great food and friendly staff. Starter, main and drink was about £25.Soup of the day was a spiced cumin with parsnip, which in all, was a good soup.Main was Korean spiced rib. Great portion size and food was all cooked to a high standard.If I was in the area again, I would definitely consider going again.

The three of us had Sunday lunch today, two had lamb and one beef, with apple and fruit crumble to follow. The whole meal was outstanding, and the service and friendliness of all the staff would be be difficult on which to improve. The seating area in the pub was carefully cleaned as new guests arrived so we were confident that the pub was well looked after.

Absolutely gorgeous setting. The garden is to die for and I’m a keen gardener, so really appreciated the beautiful surroundings. Food was fantastic and was made to feel really welcome. Our waitress was warm and friendly and made the kids feel at ease. The sweet potato wedges are a must try! Mouth wateringly good! This place is a little Suffolk gem.

Had a great lunch here. Menu is great - enjoyed the ribs. Nice garden and friendly staff I would recommend
