Railway Inn in Suffolk Coastal

Lovely food pate starter was great, ham,egg & chips is a must the service by a young lad was good also.he was friendly, curteous and even took a photo for us. Price was ok for what you got i ordered from the set 3 course menu. Lovely village pub atmosphere is lovely tables well spaced apart.

We ate here a few weeks ago on a Sunday lunch time and the food was lovely so we went back for my birthday and unfortunately some of the food was not so good. I had the same meal and it was very different from the previous time and was also overcooked. 2 other dishes were ok. It was very busy so maybe that's why they fell short this time. Service was good though and very friendly.

Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff , food delicious.Went for a Father's Day treat , we had the set menu , all vertually the same meals , wonderful , clean plates all round. Couldn't fault it .Well done to all the staff .

The Railway Inn was wonderful. Staff were lovely, warm, welcoming and soo helpful, thank you! Stunning location. Room was a good size, clean and all the extras you could wish for and more. Only half hour from Felixstowe which is a bonus. We will be be going back

Friendly and very pleasant pub. We didn't eat but the menu looked nice so maybe next time.

Visited this hotel after traveling from London. I was late, however I wasn't awear of the time check-in closes. It not listed on their website or Expedia and I was not contacted about it. I had to find alternative accommodation.Even more frustrating I when there at 7am because I booked 2 days with them and the hotel is still locked up and I can't call or contact anyone

Just had afternoon tea, which was absolutely delicious. Sausage rolls & scones were still warm. Atmosphere in pub was brilliant with excellent service. They even provided a box to take a cake and scone home. Without a doubt will be returning. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic establishment, I stayed over for the night whilst travelling for work.The food was excellent, plenty of choice on drinks and the staff were very welcoming and friendly.My room was quaint, comfortable and had everything I needed with some lovely touches you don't normally find in pub accommodation.WiFi was fast which meant I could work in my room at the desk.I'd 100% recommend The Railway Inn 👌

The only thing that let's the place down is the road noise when dining outside. Very happy to tweak the food choice if required. Staff observant and willing to assist if needed.

Lovely food, good specials.Excellent service, nice surroundings, friendly staff. I'll be going back.
