Riverside Tearoom in Suffolk Coastal

Poodling around and just came across this place. Lovely bacon bap and tea in a little sun trap with a lovely view. Will be returning soon with walking boots.

Very friendly staff. Excellent coffee and tasty homemade sausage rolls. The cakes looked delicious and lunches were available. Beautiful views right on the Riverside. Would definitely visit again

Exactly as it states, a nice tea room on the river side. Space indoors for the winter but also plenty of outdoor tables on raised decking for the summer. Great cake selection and coffee.

Great tea room, friendly service.Stopped here on the off-chance to buy takeaway sandwiches. Even though they'd only just opened, they were happy to offer a choice of fillings and made them up quickly. We had cheese & salad and ham & salad. Salad was fresh, and the ham really good (home-cooked? ). Well-packaged in recyclable containers.Didn't have time to come back for tea, but would definitely recommend. Good range of cakes that looked absolutely delicious.Location is delightful along the river (! - clue's in the name! ) among fishing huts.

Great place to stop for tea and cakes along the river. Watching the boats and the people is quite nice, and the service and quality are always good.

Great place... yummy bacon sandwich, on brown with sauce. Perfectly made - great pick me up for a long morning walk on the beach.Perfect views... friendly staff, though very busy.Lots of outside seating, inside too for those not so sunny days.Small menu but enough to choose from.Recommend the views.

Excellent value for money with a good menu and gf options. Wonderful view over the River, Quay and boat yard. Quick service with friendly staff. Treat yourself 😋

Excellent cafe for a tasty bacon sandwich and coffee. Had a flat white which was more milky than would have liked. Would have tea instead if visit again. Sat inside at a window table overlooking the estuary and quayside. Couldn't ask for a better :)

We just got take out cakes from here. The service was quick and nice. The highlight was the cheese scone. The cakes were good and would go nicely with a cup of coffee on the sea front.
